"at a hotel in front of our flight we decided to try a local pub, what a sound! the staff was very friendly and friendly, and the pub was so cozy and played excellent music. serrated beers were excellent, even had my favorite (jail ale) on! eating was excellent,...best bangers and mash I ever had, and the lasagne of my wife was so delicious. pubs and toilets were also immaculately clean! great start in our vacation! if they stay overnight in the thistle or premier inn, they will not be disappointed!"

We found this little gem when staying at nearby Premier Inn. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Areas, outdoor, partially covered and indoor. Very clean. We had a meal from a varied menu, both good value and very tasty.

simple min to foot of thistle or premier gasthof. typical pub duve served in a beautiful old pub. burger, cake and fish all very nice with good service and much better than all airport hotel food. will be coming back when flying

We popped here before departing for a holiday abroad. Amazing little find. Food amazing and made to feel so welcome. Best lasagne I have had in years. Size of meals very good as well. A must before flying from Heathrow from now on. Voir le carte

The White Horse is genuine little pub, offering character, good food and fine ales. Complete contrast the the bland airport hotel restaurants. A few minutes walk from Premier Inn, The Thistle and the nearby Sheraton. Very much worth the journey!

Spent a couple of hours after choosing not to eat at the Thistle Hotel min walk) where we had parked before taking a flight from LHR. Glad we did. Nice meal and drinks. Very friendly locals and great staff. Even got a brief tour...of this very interesting little pub from the landlord.

We we’re staying at thistle hotel down the road. We thought we go to a local pub than eat in the hotel. So glad we did. Was a great find. Lovely atmosphere, staff so friendly and welcoming. Food absolutely amazing!! Made the first night of...our holiday. Just shame we couldn’t stay longer, with early flight needed to get to bed.

we stayed in a nearby hotel before an early morning flight of terminal and tripadvisor showed that this pub was close and it looked good so that we went there. it was a cute traditional British pub with friendly staff and good eating. I could not attack the fantastic service and eat. I had the lasagne that was delicious! I would definitely recommend it and would return. they have also double checked, the burger was ok for my man who has a serious sesame allergy.
