"I don’t really know where to start. I love Little Haven have been visiting for over 30 years. When ever we’re in Little Haven we’ve always spent time at The Swan and it’s what made our holiday but sadly not anymore . The place just has no soul, the windows are dirty and if you want food it’s a tin of sardines (still in the tin! and a couple of slices of bread. This pub has definitely lost not only its soul but its way. Last night we popped in for the first time on this visit to be told at 9pm that the barman had already called last orders. Whilst he did serve us he proceeded to turn away several other customers- just madness. We’ll be frequenting The Castle St Brides on this trip and hope that before we come back later in the year that the Landlord sees some sense!"

We last visited The Swan six years ago. Guess what? It’s only gone and got even better! I can thoroughly recommend their duck dish! And my wife told me to give a shout-out to the pork tenderloin!

amazing eating and great staff. the owners of the pub felt so welcome that we went two nights in a row and would not go anywhere else now! very dog friendly, both nights our dog served bark meat breeze from the cook! would definitely recommend!

Beautiful Sunday lunch with the family. So friendly and welcoming with cosy wood burners to warm us on a very cold day. Wonderful views over the bay from upstairs dining room. Fabulous food beautifully cooked and staff so helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be returning to The Swan.

without booking, had a nice brat bark meat dinner with roast veg, kartoffeln and yorky pud. it was excellent, really delicious and the part was right for me. who likes a big part could think it was too small? I really enjoyed it, service was great and price was also not bad. would go back and recommend

Thank you Helen and Matt for accommodating us at short notice tonight for our Wedding Anniversary dinner. As you know we held our wedding breakfast at The Swan Inn (9 years ago) and as well it being a special place from my childhood, it will always be a special place for Jose and I. The food and setting was amazing, as always, and never disappoints. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

we have visited little haven for a few years and every time we go in here we get a very friendly reception. our dog callie seems to think that the **** is always the next point of the call after a long walk on the beach, especially because all employees make it very welcome! eating is good and not disproportionate as they can get operated in larger. the cordial greeting extends to the cozy atmosphere created by the two wooden fires (always welcome on a cold january day). we really recommend the swan. Exceptional on every single level. You won’t find a more beautifully appointed pub or beer garden...you won’t find a comfier fireside armchair with superior views of the sea...you won’t taste a more decadent nor highly evolved menu...and you won’t be able to stop yourself from returning time and time again. The Swan gets it right every time. Consistently high standards across the board. The team are warm and genuine, the Sunday roasts are divine and your dog is as welcome and well served as you are. Everything done with a touch of class but without pretension.

We stayed very close by last week and had a wonderful time in Little Haven and Pembrokeshire. In our first 24 hours, we popped into each of the three pubs, and received a lovely welcome in each, but something 'clicked ' with the Swann Inn. Matt Helen 's hospitality is superb and we loved the feeling of there establishment. Needless to say, every day thereafter we popped by, even if t was only for a quick pint ... but we never tired of being made to feel like one of the locals by every member of their team. The pub serves some lovely food, is dog friendly and has an excellent selection of Gins and has Helen as the perfect guide to the best tonic to try them with. We will be back at some point...

"And lucky old us wow! This was a great surprise, we had no idea we were coming into something so unusual and so good. The garden space is very big and on the lawn, amongst the flowers, herbs and vegetable beds sit tables and chairs, mainly made of roughly hewn wood, plus tenty sheddy structures with heaters, teepee looking things and probably other structures I didn't take in.We were there when it was dark and there were strings of lights throughout the garden and it was all stunning and rather difficult to take in!The service was occasionally scatty but always well meaning and pleasant and mostly very professional and rightly proud of what they do, the place and the food they serve. The food! We were so thrilled with the food after some not very good experiences locally and, as others have said, we wished we'd found it earlier and been able to book another night.I had the pork belly which must have been cooking for hours, apart from the rind (not exactly crackling but still crispy and wonderful) I could cut the meat with my fork love to know how to achieve it. No taste had been lost in the cooking process and the fat was there but was kind of crumbly so it was gorgeous. And it came with great slices of home pickled carrot and fennel which was just delicious with a hint of sweetness and a hint of spice. And a puree which I believe was cauliflower. And don't forget the delicious little black pudding rissole that comes with it.As you can see, I could go on and on! My partner loved his succulent lamb, which was served with the same vegetables. Oh, and we had side dishes of seasonal greens and roasted beetroot and goats cheese these were also yummy and well flavoured, side dish didn't mean unimportant.Sadly, we didn't have dessert, what can I say, bet they're ace. This is far too long, do visit if you can it's a real treat with great cooking and lovely people."
