Stumbled cross this pub, very friendly atmosphere, landlord lovely . This is what I call a proper pub worth a visit

I just had a delicious lamb curry with bhaji and sag aloo at this restaurant. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend.

I would recommend this place for everyone. I had an explosion. the patrons of the rod were like family! many thanks for a great English experience! I can't expect to return.

The curries and desserts at this restaurant were by far the best we have had during lockdown. We will definitely miss their delivery service, but we are thrilled to hear that they are now able to reopen. Voir le carte

Equal best pub in the country, jointly with its sister pub, the Butchers Hook in Thornbury. You can drink its own cracking craft ales, and eat ham, egg and chips from its own pigs, hens and potatoes. Heaven is here.

we traveled from norfolk on the way to cornwall and what a perfect place to start our vacation. the ham in ham is perfect and the real ale was to die. my only moan, the coffee was mumbling to practice youngs hope to see her back on the way

I highly recommend the beer, the clientele, and the food/snacks at this restaurant. Don't expect to always get the correct change, but that just adds to the excitement. They do serve ham, egg, and chips, just not on Wednesdays or weekdays, so be sure to do your research before getting upset. The cheese is delicious, and if you happen to split your pants, they will even repair them before you leave. What more could you want? Voir le carte
