Ordered a takeaway tonight. Chicken tikka Biriyani, chicken madras were absolutely delicious. Had to wait an hour for delivery which was a little longer than I'd like but it was worth the wait. Plenty of proper chicken. 5* Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40

Just ordered for my 3rd week in a row.. we live on ashbank. I am an experienced curry lady and the food from the red onion has been amazing recently. Chicken balti and jalfrezi delicious and full of flavour and nan breads always very moist. Can't stand dry bread! Support local you will not be disappointed! Thankyou x

A couple of months ago We had a reasonable meal here but the young staff weren’t very good at all . He was a young man not friendly was always on his phone paying no attention to us and we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Saturday night ! Lovely curry and very friendly staff. Needs a total revamp of the business model, though. It was Saturday night, and the place was almost empty with only 5 or 6 tables in use. It seems to make most of its money on the takeaway side of the business. The bar is not stocked anymore, tables very basic with no finesse, staff owners family ? walking around with hands in pockets chatting. This is a relatively large restaurant in a well populated area serving a really good product. Spend a few pounds on bringing it up market, and it could be full every night.
