"Today we visited the pub for lunch and found it to be very clean and cozy. We were seated by a not very helpful waitress and ordered our food and drinks. We tried a scotch egg as a starter, which took about 20 minutes to arrive. After waiting for our main dishes for over an hour, we inquired with the waitress who informed us that the delay was due to our starter. She was not very polite in her response. We waited an additional 10 minutes without any communication from the staff, so we paid for our drinks and starter and left feeling disappointed with the handling of the situation by the waitress. The lady who took our payment apologized sincerely. This will be our first and last visit to this pub, as we had hoped for a pleasant meal and to become regular customers."

Lovely place to have a drink. Dog friendly. Busy inside , but do have an outside area with seating. . You can book a table. If you don't like dogs don't go. I love them. They provide individual bowls for water and dog treats, dogs allowed inside and out and guaranteed fuss from the staff.

I arrived at the restaurant to inquire about a table. After waiting 5 minutes to reach the front of the line, I was then ignored for an additional 10 minutes while two staff members argued about seating another group. I wasn't even given a simple "sorry, be with you in a moment." In the end, I decided to walk out without being acknowledged or apologized to by the staff. It was a disappointing experience and I will not be returning. I recommend avoiding this restaurant.
