"This has been by far the best place to stay. The staff were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond what was expected of them. They became friends for life, and nothing was ever an issue. The rooms were extremely spacious and maintained daily, providing a comfortable experience. The food was of excellent quality and value for money, with the chef being accommodating to allergies. The location is perfect for golf, local shops, and tourist experiences. The downstairs bar has a great sense of community, with extremely friendly and happy people. This is a lovely place to stay for business or pleasure, and I will definitely be back soon. Karen, the manager, is the best thing to happen to this place, and Ali, the barmaid, is the best around. Good luck to Gemma on her wedding. These friends have become family, and I look forward to seeing them all again soon."

Stopped for lunch had fish and chips the batter was lovely and crisp. Not beer batter which you normally get in a pub. My husband also had sticky toffee pudding which was very good not swamped in goo. Only disappointment no decent cider.

My wife and I often visit The Plough for food and drinks, so we decided to bring my brother-in-law and his wife from Essex for a meal on Sunday. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and service with no complaints. Karen provides her hotel with delicious homemade baking, and all the food served in the lounge is freshly cooked daily.
