Disappointed, it wasn’t busy but the wait between courses was 45 minutes. The standard of the food has deteriorated dramatically. The only saving grace was that the service of the staff, which was still exemplary. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

The food was delicious, the wine very good and the service impeccable. Meals here have been hit and miss over the years, but the staff have upped their game. A thoroughly enjoyable evening! Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive and the food was absolutely wonderful. Timing was great, food was brought out quick and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was good but we would have been disappointed if paid full price for the main courses. Some dishes weren't hot enough. Service was appalling due to what seemed a shortage of waiting staff. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated when the table was booked then waited over 40 minutes for our order to be taken. We were overcharged due to another tables desserts added to our bill in error. A big thank you to all the staff we had a lovely evening.
