"great first visit in this pub. nb: 20% discount on mon wed until september 2020. Tuesday evening was quiet and we sat quite fast on a clean table. the menus are varied and very good value and based on our experience were all portions for appetizers, main and desserts larger than all we had elsewhere. the service was very good, not disturbing, exactly right with friendly and happy staff who served us all night. our group had appetizers of garnelen cocktail, fried chicken strips and mac and cheese balls with salsa. These came very well presented to us and in portions larger than all we had before. they all had anointed with them. that huh was a bit overdue, but we all ended her happy. for the net, we had a rump steak, roasted chicken meat with sewn new kartoffels, sink and iron and sausage and maic. again large portions, very well presented. our people thought the chicken and sausage heads were beautiful. the steak was described as a good butbdry, maybe slowly cooked? and the cool sink would have been better if the ham were fresher. the desserts were delicious. we had warm chocolate brownies that come with ice cream, and recommend a brilliant white chocolate cheesecake if they like cheesecake. one of the best I've ever tried. just a lot of parking outside. excellent selection of cocktails. good wine options for reasonable trips. 20% discount on Monday to September 2020."

Friendly,hard working staff. Delicious home cooked food. Excellently situated not far from where we had moored our boat in the canal basin at Stourport. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for your hospitality.

We waited almost 1 hour for the meal to arrive. The roast dinner was spoilt by the yorkshire pudding that was so burnt it was completely inedible we didn't bother to request a replacement having waited so long for it to arrive.

This is our third time at the Old Beams for Sunday lunch, beautiful as always, roast tender and tasty, veg included parsnips, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower cheese, all served hot, with Yorkshire pud and stuffing, definitely going back

the old beams are sitting on the street to my local the old beams and sitting outside in the sunshine. bbq pulled pork with melted mozzarella ciabatta with chips was delicious. music in the garden, beautiful atmosphere. highly recommended.

excellent eating! What can I say? we had appetizers, probably a mistake, as all parts were huge! following: sink, ei and chips, fish and chips and the severn burger. ham was nice, thick cut and delicious. fish was excellent, one of the best fish in a fish and chips apparently (I eat no fish so would not know the severn burger was huge and very tasty. beef, huh, chorizo, pork and speck! wow. a mixed grill in a burger. the chips were also very delicious. well done, old beams! and the best part that "to help out" made it also very cheap!
