Great location, lovely staff, wonderful food! We were a large Christmas party booking and food and service was fantastic!

We adore this neighborhood pub that serves delicious food, including a fantastic roast, and has a very welcoming staff. An added bonus is that it is dog-friendly, making it a perfect spot to visit after a walk.

I had an amazing Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. The Bakewell tart was especially delicious. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I came for a roast and some drinks with my friends and we had such a lovely time! The food was excellent as were the cocktails and the staff were super helpful and friendly. I’d recommend to anyone and will definitely be coming back!

We haven't dined out on Christmas Day in a while, so it took some courage to choose to do so on such an important day. From the moment I booked to arrival Great welcome friendly and happy staff l. Absolutely fabulous food staff fantastic. We had three different roasts all super. Might have been good if the chicken could have been breast no bones. Would have liked a larger selection of red wine by glass. Highly recommend this place great food great atmosphere and good value,

We arranged a special family dinner for 19 people. The staff were brilliant, from Sophie organising the event with plenty of contact beforehand to ensure all menu choices were made and special dietary/allergen taken note of, to the fantastic staff on the night, especially Rhys very helpful,friendly and accommodating of our noisy crowd! The food was excellent with a great choice of dishes all of my guests thoroughly enjoyed their meals, thank you. A wonderful memorable evening out I can highly recommend the Narrowboat as a top venue for eating out.

What a lovely spot. It was our work Christmas dinner, and it was easily the best food we’ve had in at least 3 years. The roast beef was beautifully cooked, and the sea bass arrived piping hot and really tasty. The service was superb friendly, fun and efficient, managing delivery of a three course meal without fuss or the usual difficulty of relying on the guests remembering what they’d ordered. We had the whole downstairs to ourselves, with a beautifully decorated table and really nice quality Christmas crackers. Upstairs seemed to have a lovely atmosphere, even on a Monday night. If I lived closer, I’d definitely be making it a regular haunt. Voir le carte
