Excellent service, visited for lunchtime pre Christmas meal with friends. Great choice from lunch and main menu. Portion sizes were generous, food was well presented and very tasty. Great value.

I would rate this place an 6 if I could. Amazing hospitality, the food was amazing and not too expensive. Members of staff are so approachable. 10/10 would recommend for anyone. This place is absolutely gorgeous and if anyone gets a chance to go, please...

We went to this restaurant for a family birthday celebration on January 3rd. It was a quiet atmosphere, likely due to it being the first week after Christmas and New Year's. However, we didn't mind at all. The food and service were both excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The manager is on drugs and sleeps with underage staff, awful attitudes and people in general. Owner never seen and issues are brushed under the carpet. Unclean and awfully ran. Business is running into the ground and the owner won’t take responsibility. Absolitely shocking attempt at running a pub.

As a slimmer and vegetarian there wasn't any option for me at Sunday dinner only the cheese dish full of pastry nice, but I don't like mash or Yorkshire pudding fattening not sure if veg had butter or oil on them and calories on menu would of been nice in these times as friends invited us here I didn't like to fuss to much

If you're going to attempt to walk in as two on a Friday at 8pm with a restaurant that looked basically empty for somewhere that looks genuinely nice, don't bother going here as staff will just turn you away. Worked in hospitality for nearly 15 years and the only time I ever turned away a table of two is when I literally had no room to fit them in my restaurant. Unbelievably poor. First experience there and would've been a regular if the food and service had been as nice as looks on the internet. Don't see the point of returning and will be informing others not to bother either.

What’s happened to this pub/ restaurant? Down hill is an under statement. Staff are disinterested at best. Waited 25 min for a meal that was ok but not worth the money. Waited for staff to take a pudding order. But they were busy chatting at the bar. I finally went to bar to order , disappointed to see some were not even available. My young son did order a brownie and ice cream, he ate some but said it was terrible. Waited for service to order more drinks. It never came. So again went to bar to order. You might think it was very busy so this is why service is slow. But we were a table of 3 . The only other table in the eating area was a table of 2. So disappointed with this. The junction was...

We came here for Mother 's Day (Sunday lunch). Usually the food here is nice, and the service is usually so so. The owners should be embarrassed at how poor their staff were yesterday. Rude, surly, no knowledge of what they actually had in their hands, and generally 'can 't be bothered do not want to be here '. I suggest if the wait staff don 't want to be there, replace them. Chicken roast was nice although the Yorkshire puddings were raw. The Roast Beef was over cooked and dry All the veg was luke warm (although there was plenty of it).
