The Hut - Carte

Doing a road trip, so I had no idea we had to book a table. The place was Empty and yet they said they couldn’t take us without a reservation.

Tracey gave us excellent service as usual, despite being extremely busy. The chef made a mistake with our steaks, but it was resolved in the form of a discount on the final bill.

Always good food here. Had a particularly good rump steak as part of a mixed grill. Our waitress Gemma was bright and cheerful and there when we needed her. Always good value, even better when you have over of their many discount vouchers !

Really friendly staff who always are so accommodating when we visit with our Autistic son. The food is really excellent. The triple cooked chips and the Fillet Steaks are better than a lot of supposedly superior restaurants. Special thanks to Gemma our waitress who looked after us so well, during our visit. The service and food at this restaurant were outstanding! The fillet steaks, in particular, were cooked perfectly by Jane as always. Jess, Millie, and Kristie were delightful and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. Despite the recent news of their closure, they still greeted us with smiles. It's unfortunate that they won't be open much longer.

Hello. I recently entered this restaurant for lunch and was not greeted when I said hello. I was told they were fully booked for the evening. I inquired about their lunch menu, as advertised, but was told they had no staff available and could only offer me chips. The chips and beer were of poor quality. I believe it would be best if they closed down. I do not recommend trying this place, as the service was rude and unprofessional.

This restaurant is in very poor condition. The first thing you see is a crumbling deck and two dead hanging baskets. The whole place looks run-down and past its prime. There's a sign at the checkout saying "we are short staffed please be patient", setting a negative tone before you even order. If they are short on staff, it would be better for them to acknowledge you and let you know they will help as soon as possible. We made a reservation for 8pm but arrived at 7:30pm for drinks. We received an email while seated, saying we needed to arrive earlier because the kitchen closes at 8:30pm. Since it was a Friday night and the atmosphere was lacking, we decided to leave as we thought the rushed... Voir le carte
