The meal was cold and the potatoes were very small and dried up very poor value. Didn’t enjoy it won’t go back wouldn’t recommend

A warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble including a request for pancakes (Shrove Tuesday). Food and especially the desserts were excellent and great service. Looking forward to our next visit

We visited this restaurant for lunch after having drinks here recently. The beer garden was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Although the large menu was a bit overwhelming, the food was of great quality. We definitely plan on returning! Voir le carte

We popped in just after lunch for a family meal. The pub had a lovely welcoming feel, and the young guy behind the bar was very pleasant. The food choice was very good, and the food and service were amazing. We had 2 different types of burgers, fish cakes and Beef stew. Will definitely be returning.

Whilst on holiday in the area we decided to visit here, our first time and was very pleased it’s a great pub with lovely food, large portions, friendly staff and also a fab pub garden with a variety of kids activities to enjoy. We definitely recommend trying here and will be back next time we visit the area.

My family and I (10 people) had a wonderful Sunday roast on 10th September 2023 which we would highly recommend, the serving staff were amazing, especially Louis who mainly dealt with us...we later discovered that Louis was a new member of staff....and he played a blinder....could not do enough for us and a very nice young man too...Well done Louis..from me and my family.. We had a delightful lunch at this restaurant on a sunny day in October. The menu was lovely, with enticing specials and a good variety of options on the regular menu. The barman was friendly and the food was excellent. The restaurant also had a spacious garden with play equipment, making it an ideal spot to bring children. The portions were generous and overall it was a great experience.

I booked a table for a late Sunday lunch, and was advised to book for 2:30pm, which turned out to be perfect timing as a large party was just leaving when we arrived. The service was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, making it hard to decide what to order. Our meals all arrived at the same time, piping hot with extra gravy. Despite being a pub, they provided table service for drinks which was a nice touch. We were not rushed to leave our table, and the staff thanked us for coming. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Loved the small selection of menu. It was a weekday and I'm always suspicious of large menus... Often a huge choice or frozen stuff and a bank of pinging microwaves.... ...But Not here! A Small selection of freshly prepared choices of main courses to go with their lovely real ales and other beverages. I opted for the liver and bacon with mash and gravy as its one of my favourite comfort dishes. Perhaps not typically a summer dish but uncious and tasty none the less. Service was quick and polite as it was on my previous visit. The pub itself has a great atmosphere and I soon found myself joining in with the local's and staff's chat and banter .
