The food was great! The service was fantastic and friendly! You couldn’t beat the atmosphere! If you love cheese wine you have gone to the right place! But if you don’t like wine they serve various other drinks! I would highly recommend and we will come back!

Absolutely great. Went yesterday on my birthday and discovered it was way more than a cheese and wine bar. The platter was huge for four and so much variety. Lovely fresh bread, huge olives and cheeses I’d never heard of, plus loads of different meats too. My maiden name is Renouf which made it especially enjoyable. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Perfect spot for drinks and eats pre Small Faker’s gig at the splendid Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne, which is almost next door. The Ultimate Board for 2 was beautifully presented, varied and tasty charcuterie, and washed down with nice dry Prosecco and Sicilian Pinot Grigio followed by pretty and delicious mini cheesecakes. I have a friend that visits yearly and for the last 3 years we have made it a tradition to visit a Renoufs. This year was Wimborne and we were quite disappointed. We felt very rushed to order and our food came out some time before our drinks. The usual experience here is we enjoy our drinks and then food comes. What really left a bad taste was that we were charged £1.20 per portion of crackers!!!! We got FOUR crackers!!!! FOUR!?!? We have NEVER been charged extra for thi before. Couldn’t believe it. Think we will find alternative cheese wine places next time.

A most enjoyable experience Never been before but definitely on the list to revisit. It looks deceptive. From the outside it looks small but it goes back quite a way inside. Friendly greeting on arrival. The young lad who looked after us and giving guidance on what we could choose was great for us novices. There were 8 of us and we felt the 6 selection we chose was enough but topped off with a little bread. A comment from one or two in the group was as we were a table of 8. The platter board could have been in two. As they could not reach all the way down the table and reliant on others passing down to them Also, an option go have a bottle of wine with the platter included in the price? Poss...

The thing with a place that just serves food on a big board is the ingredient standard and presentation has to be spot on... and here it really is. Great variety of meat and cheese, lovely wine, good accompaniments. All obviously not bought to a price. Couple of notes for first-timers like me. Not complaints, just notes: 1. If you order a board (pic below is the 4 person) you get a lot of meat and cheese and not much bread, olives etc. If we go again (we will) we'll order a smaller board and more side dishes, especially bread. 2. When booking, you get a choice between high and low tables. High is like sitting at a bar on a stool, low normal table. Whatever floats your boat. So in summary: I... Voir le carte
