Great place, staff are so lovely, nice and clean, quick service and good pints. Only criticism is be great if they could a better cider on draught and more beer selection like moretti. Agree with the other recent reviews, a change of chef has meant the food has declined in quality. Paid £8 for a starter of chicken wings from the specials board, received 3 half breaded half wings which I believe came from the frozen aisle of Lidl. Weren't even crispy. Similar story with fish a few weeks back. Revived inns who own it are not living up to their name! Food: 2

We have eaten lunch here before which was really good. But, has there been a change of chef? Our recent visit for lunch left us unimpressed food wise. The 'mashed potato ' was unedible. The vegetables were overcooked. The pie was acceptable. Ploughman 's lunch was very much smaller. Drinks were very good as was service. Will not be our first choice in the near future. I enjoyed the food. The staff was friendly. The views were beautiful across the English Channel. I had a vegan food selection which is always a bonus and some weren't rolled high!! There were also nice puddings. However, I just looked at their menu on the website and nothing is marked as vegan and in fact all of the choices appear to be animal based. The menu needs to show some vegan options or I'll go to a cafe/restaurant/pub where it does. I want to know what's available and the price before I go in. I have no time to waste nor can I find anything! Voir le carte
