"The White Horse is a classic pub with a wide selection of drinks. We decided to give it a try while staying nearby. The service was friendly, and I ordered the steak pie with gravy, mashed vegetables. The pie and gravy were tasty, but there wasn't much meat in the pie. Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were dense and seemed like they came from a packet. The vegetables were very crunchy, making them difficult to cut. My husband had the fish and chips, which was good. We both had a dessert, which was delicious and addictive. The pub gets very crowded, but overall it's a great place to visit."

"Fantastic Establishment. I drop in to the Queens Head just for a beer. So glad l did, what a breath of fresh air so different from the norm! Lovely welcome, one of the owners, the Landlady even helped me find a parking place and l recieved a really nice welcome. I was asked my name and when l got inside l was introduced to the an equally welcoming group of regulars. I have now returned 4 times and l am more than happy to become a regular. There are a number of local and National beers and ciders on offer. All are extremely well kept and served by helpful and welcoming team.. The Landlady certainly knows her beers and is so knowledgable and enthusiastic about local and National Beers and Ciders. The Queens Head is like the Tardis with various rooms all individually and tastefully furnished. There is also a large well kept Garden with plenty of tables. The food offering is also different from the Norm and offers the odd fish dishe, all nicely cooked and well presented. Price wise the Queens Head is certainly very competitive to anywhere local. I live Locally and have experience a number of local hostelrese. A couple of these are fine. However if l am honest, The Queens Head will take some beating. Such a great on going experience. Regular entertainment and food themed evening. From Friday 21st until Sunday 24 September 2023. With over 25 crafted Ciders and beers. Again local and national Breweris will be represented. Sorry about this lengthy review, but the Queens head certainly deserves it. Obviously you will need to visit to enjoy the experience. I can assure you, you won't be disappointed. Dennis"

"some seating areas inside and outside. cozy atmosphere. quite small parking space. we were served quickly, eating was delicious. could have a little more of the choice for vegetarian and starter prices a little too high. as garlic bread was £6-7. unless they have this for the act."

"Tout aussi bien que nous nous en souvenions avec un personnel excellent et une nourriture exceptionnelle. Légèrement déçu qu'on nous ait donné une table à côté du seul moyen de sortir du restaurant dans le jardin et pendant la durée de notre repas, les invités ouvraient continuellement la porte, la laissant entrouverte de sorte que notre fille a dû la fermer au moins une douzaine de fois puis frôlant notre table. Bien que cela n'ait pas entièrement gâché un délicieux déjeuner, cela a certainement pris l'avantage. C'était aussi dommage que notre vin ne soit pas arrivé avant d'avoir fini nos plats principaux ... tout aussi bien nous avons eu des puddings. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation lors de notre prochaine visite dans le Suffolk et espérons que nos commentaires ne serviront qu'à améliorer un endroit formidable"

"We were warmly welcomed and chose quinoa patties with goats cheese, pesto snd salad and caesar salad which was supposed to be with smoked chicken but they'd run out so was offered smoked salmon instead. Both very tasty and fitting for a summer menu. Very slow to be served...not quite sure why but we weren't in a rush thankfully and were able to browse the farm shop and art work whilst waiting. The homemade quince and apple juice was amazing. We had delicious hummingbird (pineapple fruit nuts) cake with coffee for afters..but could have chosen any of the delicious looking homemade cakes. Service was pleasant throughout but possibly a mention regarding the wait on food would have been good. However very happy to return both to the shop and the cafe."
