Can't believe this place hasn't been reviewed before! My friends and I were expecting a standard gastropub but instead we experienced an amazing restaurant

Attended my daughter and son-in-laws wedding on friday17th November. The staff were very friendly .the whole afternoon/evening went extremely well. Food you couldn't fault. Spent the last 2 nights here. Charming dog friendly pub with rooms with real fires and good food surrounded by beautiful walks at Dunwich Forest and Minsmere and only 20 mins from Southwold. We had a great time, both in the rooms and during the wedding you organized with Maxence and Lauren. David and Charlie made us very welcome and served. A magnificent place, full of charm in the English countryside! My partner and I were there to celebrate a wedding! Very well managed, David and Charlie took great care! Everything was perfect ! Beautiful hotel in a lovely village. Our room was really nice, and the bath was amazing! All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, and our two dogs were given their own beds, towels and treats. The hotel was in a great location for visiting local beaches and dog walks. No complaints at all. Rooms: Lovely room with everything one would need for a stay. Food drinks: Lovely food, well stocked bar, but a little pricey for drinks. The service was great and the staff very friendly.
