Visited for dinner with my husband whilst staying in Elgin for a few days. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, staff friendly, polite and nothing was too much for them. We will certainly be return when back in the area. A superb...experience.

Really enjoyed our dinner last night with our group of 2. Comfortable and pretty restaurant with attentive staff and relaxed feel. The special of lemon sole was so delicious thank you! We all enjoyed our amazing food, and the whole experience. Thoroughly recommend to all.

a great foundation in elgin and highly recommended. friendly staff and very nice environment. I had the best puttanesca ever outside of neapel. my partner had the flat iron steak and the house made chips that were cooked to perfection and tasty. clean smart restaurant I had got 5 stars, but thought the wee was a bit overpriced. keep the good food and service.

Took a few customers here as they recommended it and whilst it was very good a little bit of flexibility wouldn't have gone amiss. I opted for the salt and chill squid for starter, but was told they couldn't do a main course mussels so...had to make do for a starter portion instead. Now as much as I love mussels I will concede that they aren't particularly filling, so the homemade chips were a welcome addition if not really what I wanted. Everyone else enjoyed their steaks and the price wasn't too bad.

Together with my friend, we were greeted by someone who smoked a cigarette in the door (I thought honestly, the man is a gas that went out for a smoke), unfortunately the thing was not better after. we were told we can stay an hour. at the table just 35 minutes to be there as we are invisible after we got up and have gone, this to my surprise did not rise up any eyebrows, even if we walk past the chap that put us down. real shame as this is a really nice place, but money can not buy standards and quality service

Food was absolutely brilliant. Had mussels and a ham hock starter, excellent flavour combinations. Cleverly presented. Very clean, concise and clever cooking. Main courses we had were a lamb cutlets special with some seasonal garnish and my partner had beef short rib which had been...cooked down properly making it very very tender. 2nd visit and it won’t be our last! Staff also very very good. Brilliant atmosphere, busy wee place that just works in each department. Great food served by great front of house staff. Keep doing what your doing.

We popped in for lunch and were fortunate enough to get a table for two. The interior is lovely; tasteful and comfortable. We just wanted a simple but tasty lunch. We weren’t disappointed. I had the croque monsieur, my wife had the advacado with minted...goats cheese on sourdough. Good portions and both really tasty. The menu looks appetising and varied. There is a large selection of single malts, cocktails and other drinks, including alcohol free drinks, but no real craft beers. This would be a lovely place to go for an evening meal. We will certainly visit again.

Myself and my partner ordered the burger and monkfish. The monkfish dish was borderline inedible! The monkfish was like a piece of unseasoned, boiled fish that was slapped on top of the most soggy risotto. The risotto was over cooked to the point there was...liquid sitting at the bottom. The beef burger was genuinely one of the worst burgers I've ever had. I feel so rude writing that but it genuinely was not good. There was no seasoning, it was completely bland and the bacon was pretty much raw. It seemed that there had been no care whatsoever put into either meal.
