"We were enjoying a reasonable lunch when a man came in with 2 dogs (not on leads)! The dogs were rushing around the pub scavenging for food even behind the bar. One then decided to have a poo on the carpet. Admittedly the owner cleared it up with blue paper towels, and took it away behind the bar. The smell left was horrendous no disinfectant was used what about children/babies on that carpet! We left our meals after a confrontation with the owner of the dogs and his friends, complained to staff but no apology! This is unbelievable if dogs are admitted to pub surely they should be on leads! Very disappointing!"

The restaurant charges a steep price for a mediocre meal in a budget style. The view of the river is nice, but I will only be sticking to a pint next time.

Delicious food, a delightful drink, and a beautiful waterfront view from the window. I can only imagine how much better it would be on a sunny day, sitting outside.

that was pretty, though not really hot when it reached me. the other choice on 9/8/21 was a burger and there was a choice of vegan ice cream or salted caramel cake of any kind dessert (although I did not have it). there is also a Sunday roast option.

it did not take long to choose a vegan meal on the menu, as there are only two choices (maybe three)! the curry sounded vegan friendly, but the waiter didn't seem confident, so we went to the plantburgers. it tasted good, but nothing special. was just like any other easy to get and serve vegans' patty that are popular in British pubs.

The location is fantastic and I have been here multiple times before. However, I was disappointed with the bar staff who seemed to favor locals over other customers, which made me feel quite insulted. The food was greasy and of low quality - the "fish finger" sandwiches actually had budget fillet instead of actual fish fingers, and the squid was overcooked and dripping with oil. Overall, it was not good value for money and I did not have a great experience.

A great lunchtime find. Fabulous service and a great view. I had the belly pork with tender stem broccoli and mash . To be fair I was expecting tiny bit of pork with loads of mash . I couldn’t have been further from the truth !! 2 huge pieces and a lovely bit of crackling too. Hubby had the gammon which was 3 thick slices and lovely chunky chips. The food was delicious and the girls behind the bar were hot on it with the service. Another table had children and were asked if they would like a box of Lego to play with. What a fantastic idea. Great value for money and will certainly visit again.
