Good range of beers, friendly staff and comfortable seating. Although I didn't eat here the food looked appetising and good portion size.

The pub is in a beautiful village and it was like going back in time...in a good way. Staff were very friendly, beer was good and there was a lovely feeling to the place.

This such a good pub but lunch (fish finger sandwich) was average being too stodgy. The bread should not be so much bigger than the fish finger. Also, there is rarely a smile offered upon arrival so not the most welcoming of venues sadly.

So pleased we found this place on our trip to Sandwich. The two ladies serving (I realised I didn't catch their names, sorry! were absolutely wonderful and so lovely with our dog. We were made to feel very welcome. The food was fantastic as well. Really great quality food and generous portions. Great atmosphere and the loveliest staff. Thoroughly recommend

When we went there for the first time we were told they only do food at six. When we went there for the second time and wanted to eat at six again, we were told they don 't do food that late. ? Make up your mind. Other people came after us and were able to eat even though they supposedly don 't do food that late . Two stars because the food was good at least, but set your opening times and *keep* them. Voir le carte
