"The service at this restaurant was impeccable, with truly kind and genuine staff providing lovely touches in the rooms and during meals. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and beautifully presented. The rooms had all basic amenities and even included a sweet treat on the pillows. The establishment is fully dog-friendly and despite every table being packed, it didn't feel loud or busy. Overall, the rooms, service, and location all scored a perfect 5, making this a standout hotel for its romantic and quiet atmosphere."

"I am writing to express my positive customer experience with The OLD Mill Kent As an international Google reviewer, I travel the world to document my experiences at various establishments I want to share my humble opinion about the excellent service provided by Glenn Wilders, GM, and Jordan Upon seeing the beautiful building along the roadside, I, a first-time visitor from Malaysia, stopped by with my daughter for some food and drinks. The garden was clean and well-maintained, and we were warmly greeted by Glenn Jordan. The drinks were tasty, and the chairs were comfortable, which was important for me due to my back issues. The atmosphere and decor exuded a sense of community spirit, making us want to stay longer. The bar was clean, and the toilets were smelling fresh. As a reviewer, it's easy to write negative comments when things go wrong, so it gives me great pleasure to say that this wasn't the case. "We stayed for one night recently, with dinner in the evening. The food was good, though perhaps not the most inventive for a tasting menu. The wine pairing was excellent.The room was 'okay ', some nice original features, but really let down by a bathroom that 's windowless, very small and cheaply outfitted (chrome coated plastic, basic electric shower, mirror with a power button on it, mouldy holder) – it feels out of step with the aesthetic of the rest of the room and it 's telling you don 't see much of it on the website when booking.The overall impression was a little underwhelming. It was a needed change of scene but we are unlikely to return."

"I hate to be critical, but I can only speak about the food we had at this restaurant. The flat white was weak, too large, and tasted bland - more like a cheap latte from a machine than a proper flat white. The quiche lacked seasoning and was also bland and forgettable. The scones were dry, crumbly, and tasted like toast with no flavor. Unfortunately, the food here was very disappointing. Despite the friendly staff, the restaurant could greatly improve by offering higher-quality food such as artisan cakes, local produce, and rich, flavorful coffee. With these improvements, this place could be exceptional."

"I always base my review on the second visit to a restaurant. We have been twice in about 6 weeks, and this time was an unbelievable change for the worse. We opted for a 3-course fine dining experience, but it fell short. The starter of prawn pura consisted of hard, unappetizing prawns. The main courses of butter chicken and prawn sag (with mushroom rice) also featured overcooked prawns and disappointing butter chicken. The mushroom rice was greasy and in small portion. The peshawari nan was the only highlight of the meal. For dessert, we were served only one tiny, tasteless kulfi cut in half, when we were expecting a dessert each. It seemed like they had not realized it was our second visit, as during the first visit, we had a dessert each with more choices. Overall, the entire meal was a disappointment and an insult, especially since it was supposed to be fine dining. It's a shame to see such a decline in quality, turning what was once one of the best Indian restaurants into one of the worst. Whoever made the decision to cut back on quality has made a huge mistake."
