I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the steak was the best I've had in a while. They were also very accommodating to my mother, who is in a wheelchair. Thank you so much. The price per person was between £50 and £60.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Love the concept of butcher shop/bar and grill. Some of the best local produce you can get, cooked to a very high standard in a very unique setting. Staff so friendly and helpful. Price was very reasonable for the quality of food. Will make the 5 hour drive from Newcastle back one day just to eat here.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Butcher's Tap in honor of my Father-in-law's 85th birthday. The steaks were superb, and the wine selection was exceptional. Had an wonderful experience at Butchers Tap Grill on Sunday. The service, in line with Tom Kerridge's standards, was impeccable, even during the bustling crowd. The highlights were the Lamb Fritters and the Pork Tomahawk! Arrive early to secure a seat, as it tends to be quite busy. The option to buy meat for takeaway or pay a grill charge for them to cook it and sit in is a great option. A must-visit spot. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Pork Tomahawk

10/10. Absolutely buzzing place. Everything about this bar, butcher, restaurant is top. The service was on fire, the staff were super friendly, and obviously the food and drinks were second to none. We had help choosing our meat cut from the counter and walking over to have it grilled for you was just a great touch. We were told by one regular customer (glass of red in hand) ‘go talk to the staff and ask for them to take you on the journey’ I left thinking….. ‘when can I come back and eat here?’

We treated ourselfs to a visit to Tom Kerridge's butchers tap and grill, we we're not disappointed, from steak cook just as we ordered to tasty burgers is a great atmosphere, there parmesan and truffle oil fries I believe we're something special (not that I got to try them as my other half didn't share) very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and friendly locals made this a truly memorable experience.
