Nice traditional pub with ample off street parking.Theres a decent choice of well kept beers,and a good choice of food.The staff were friendly,helpful and efficient.The meals were very good and were served quickly.All in all a good experience.

We booked a table for 6 and our dogs, and were seated in a lovley snug area. The pub had a lovley warm welcoming atmosphere. Food was great and arrived in good time. Was a short walk from our stay at Poplars Farm. Would definitely come back! Thank you

I hadn’t visited this place for many years, even though I’m local. Went as a family and I was really happy with the appearance inside of the place, the decor was excellent the food looked and tasted delicious. Everything home made presented beautifully. I shall be back Voir le carte

We wanted a team night out, which was local. I regularly come here so I recommended it to the team and they all loved it. The food was great and the staff were friendly as always. Popped in at lunch time and glad we did had a lovely meal cooked to perfection only down side had sweets I thought was a bit exspensive husband had apple pie and custard not a deep apple pie looked like shop bought priced at 5.25 definetly not worth money but main meal was really nice will be going again when passing but not have puds Voir le carte

Was meant to be visiting somewhere else close by but was closed so phoned up to reserve a table while on the way, they phoned straight back as the phone single was sketchy. When arriving was shown to the table and placed our order, food arrived pretty quickly and was well presented, I had a Brie and bacon burger which was to die for and my friend had a bbq Mexican tortilla wrap which again was delicious. Highly recommend the food here, decent prices and freshly cooked to perfection.

Friendly staff welcomed us and gave us advice on the menu which was larger than I expected. We chose the lasagne and the pork burger. Both were excellent and very tasty. The chips were also the kind your mum used to make if you were lucky, chunky, fluffy on the inside and crisp outers. Even the coleslaw was homemade. They have a small but adequate wine choice and the ale is bass with a guest beet. It was blue monkey infinity and was kept nicely. We will happily return for another meal here.

Visited on Saturday night drinks served promptly and shown to table to peruse the menu which was quite comprehensive. Order taken and short wait for starters. The prawn cocktail was very generous and tasty. The whitebait hearty. Two had the homemade steak ale pie, chips and peas for main both said it was absolutely delicious, best pie they had had for ages! I had the scampi prawns, chips asked for ‘mushy’ peas which they did, very tasty and good sized portion, home made chips! We couldn’t manage a pudding but saw some being served to other tables and definitely will save some room for next time! Two coffees to finish off and a reasonable bill.
