"Spotless cafe environment overlooking Bembridge harbour, which has expanded it's eating area inside since I last visited. Food has consistently been excellent on several visits over the past few years, and I recommend anyone to give it a visit. The crab salad is divine. I've read some comments about service quality, but found it to be prompt and consistent with other cafes I've visited. If you want swanky, then go to a restaurant but be prepared to pay 50% more for the same thing."

What a great place! Stunning views amazing location, superb, friendly service, but best of all the freshest crab and lobster you can imagine!! Literally landed by the fishermen and on your plate within the hour! Can't recommend highly enough!!

I had the lobster salad for lunch, we sat on an outside table. I can't rate it highly enough. I don't feel that the advert photographs do this gem of a place justice. It is definitely in my top 3 places to eat, and what a beautiful location with swans, ducks and yachts as a back drop.

Went today for the seafood platter after reading reviews. Was not disappointed! The seafood platter was delicious and definitely worth the price! 1 whole lobster, 2 dressed crabs, crevettes, prawns, mussels and clams. Plus salad and baguettes. A great little find! Beautiful views. Will be back again soon.

Fresh seafoods straight from the sea. I have seen regular fishing boats unloading fresh seafoods ready to be cooked and served to the customers. Expensive as what you can expect with seafoods but not as expensive as the one in Bridport. Will definitely recommend and the only and the best in the Isle of Wight.

Since our first visit to that little cottage twelve years ago, still the BEST crab, lobster, prawns muscles from the only place to get it! What a pair of platters we had, 1kg of fresh crab and a giant crab claw each for the kids. Next time we'll definitely give the amazing looking restaurant a go! Apparently James Martin has even discovered them now!

We were a party of 6. The waitress was very professional, highly accommodating and the food was yummy. I asked for a mixture of crab, prawn and muscles in my dish so I could sample a bit of several dishes, and it was no problem. Portions were large therefore I felt value for money. So all in all I would highly recommend anyone visiting the Isle of Wight to track down this lovely little place.

I will start with I loved the location the slow service and the platter for 2. However my feedback to send it to another level would be to provide a real salad not just a large bag of greens with 2 halves of tiny tomatoes and half a slice of onion. Give people a basket of bread 2 small bagette halves is not enough. Also lose the 2 New Zealand mussels they add nothing to a great dish particularly the crab. Especially when you can't offer chips due to a power issue.
