The Bank House - Carte

The coffee and tea were excellent, and we enjoyed two delicious slices of cake that were clearly homemade. The service was good, and the toilets were clean. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Tea is easily made. But few do it well, these guys do a great cuppa. Also proper chips, made on site and not stupid fries. Sat inside as the out side isn't very big and is a tad near a not too busy road.

Called by for breakfast but it had just stopped so ended up with lunch. Good choice of dishes, maybe more choice of sandwiches would be welcome as limited Friendly service food was tasty and well presented Voir le carte

a beautiful, welcoming place. We sat outside in the magnificent weather. eating is fresh, generous and very tasty. varied menu with something for everyone. happy friendly staff, excellent service and the prices were very reasonable. would definitely recommend and next time we will come back. in the opposite.

Are lunch here twice during a weekend in Charmouth. Highlights were definitely the macaroni cheese, the vegetable soup and the Dorset apple cake. All home made and all delicious. Sandwiches were generously filled and the chutney used was particularly tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great little cafe.

We loved our coffee and cake at this charming café. The freshly baked Dorset apple pie was absolutely delicious. We popped in on our way to the west country and found this place to be even better than the ones we've tried there. Be sure to check its opening days, but we were lucky to visit on a Thursday when it was open. Voir le carte

I dined at this restaurant in Charmouth twice over the weekend. Highlights included the macaroni cheese, sweet soup, and Dorset apple cake, all made in-house and all delicious. I ordered to takeaway plain ham sandwiches, cheese sandwiches with onion chutney, and a lemon drizzle cake. The sandwiches were disappointing came with a small handful of plain crisps thrown in the bottom of a paper bag. The lemon drizzle cake...was a measly finger slice. This cost me a whopping I really hate being ripped off. When we called to complain we were told that we should have gone to a supermarket!! Yes we should have!

We visited last Saturday and with time to spare before we started a fossil hunt on the beach we ventured into Charmouth by foot looking for somewhere to eat. At first we thought this cafe was closed as there was no one seated inside or...out and there didn't seem to be much sign of life but on returning past it we noticed a couple seated outside. We were so pleased that we stopped as the staff were super friendly and we were able to enjoy a nice sandwich each followed by cake. They stop serving hot food about minutes before closing. Everything was freshly prepared and they make the best mug of tea! Whilst we were eating the little cafe began to fill up so from being empty at they were nearly... Voir le carte
