Absolutely fantastic food and the pudding was luscious, well worth the calories. The waitress was brilliant, made us feel very welcome. We will be back!

Went here for Sunday lunch. Friendly little place. Food was very good. The waiting staff were on the ball. Food came out very quick and hot. The waiting staff were happy and friendly and did not rush you.

I'm not one for Sunday Lunch but fancied one so give the Stag and Pheasant a try.... Wow I really enjoyed it. For £8.95 you can't complain at all. Loads of food and worth every penny. The Cheesecake was also beautiful . Great welcome from the waitress. Will call in again during Wed-Sun and pick a meal from their menu.

Such a lovely welcoming pub , we were made to feel very at home here .by staff and customers alike .The restaurant is behind the bar and is huge which was quite unexpected .When our chosen food arrived after ony a short wait it was presented beautifully and tasted amazing , we are definitely returning everyone is so attentiveis The Stag and Pheasant just a thoroughly lovely place Voir le carte

My partner and I along with my Mum and friends enjoyed a lovely meal at the Stag and Pheasant during the Christmas-New Year period. The food was really really tasty and excellent value for money. We all really enjoyed our dishes and would all recommend them- Lasagne, Hunters chicken, Welsh Stag chicken and the Chicken curry. Service was excellent and all staff were very welcoming and friendly. We’ve recently moved to Carmel from Swansea so we’re really greateful to have such a great restaurant on our door step serving really good home cooked food! We’ll be back in 2019!!

My wife and I were staying next door at the Stag Coach House, and decided to eat at the Stag and Pheasant for our evening meal. Jo the landlady was extremely warm and welcoming, and the server was very friendly and efficient. Our starters were fantastic (Creamy garlic mushrooms Battered halloumi) and the mains were even better (Homemade lasagne Sirloin steak). One of the few places I've eaten that can actually cook a steak medium rare, instead of serving shoe leather! The icing on the cake was the desert. The homemade Strawberry Cheesecake was absolutely divine. If I'd had room, I would have ordered a second portion!

£11.95 for 3 courses was excellent value at the stag and pheasant. I wasn’t overly keen on the balsamic vinegar on the prawn cocktail or the peppers but everyone else enjoyed their pate and soup. The turkey dinner was good with lots of turkey- 3 slices but the people who had beef felt a little hard done by with only 1 slice. The veg was fine. Puddings were all good- cheesecake, chocolate fudge cake were very good so too was the eton mess even though that was more like an ice cream sundae. For the price it was very good value. Its not al a carte so don’t expect mitchelin starred quality but for the price it was good. The young girl serving us was excellent and really did her best to make sure... Voir le carte
