"We 'd been down to the west country for a short break and wanted a meal before we hit the motorway. However, a lot of restaurants on our trip from Minehead to the M5 were closed, and in the current pandemic situation it can be difficult to find somewhere that accepts walk ins. By the time we reached Bridgewater just before 6pm, we were hungry hadn 't been able to find anywhere open or affordable) since breakfast. So we parked up on Market Street and started looking through Trip Advisor for recommendations. Roma is in a street with a lot of restaurants and takeaways, but we didn 't fancy eating in the new) car and liked the look of the menu so we went in. A warm welcome, and swiftly seated away from the tables that had been reserved, and our details were taken for contact tracing no problem with that). We went for the 5 7 p.m. £10.95 special: three courses and every course was excellent. We went for bruschetta good, tomatoes could have had more flavour) and cheesy garlic bread excellent: thin and very tasty). Mains he went for a chicken and mushroom pizza, I had the pollo pesto. Both good. Desserts strawberry cheesecake and of course) tiramisu. Despite it being a 'budget ' option, the ingredients used were fresh, and the portion size was good. Only downside was the beer was expensive £5 for a pint of draught cider) but as I was driving I was happy with a hot chocolate delicious)"

Been here a few times and i must says its nice. Its not the best Italian i have ever been too but value for money its ACE. Give it a try and you will love it

We decide to visit the Roma restaurant after some recommendations. Having never visited before we didn’t know what to expect. The staff were very welcoming and friendly which is always a great start when you are out for a meal.

Ordered a calzone from them and turned up with hardly anything in it that it tasted of bread. When I complained to them about it all they said was that it is meant to be like that and there is nothing they can do. You can get a better calzone from Asda.

Just had a really good delivery 2 course meal. Delivered by Steve. Very efficient friendly. Food exceeded our expectations. The sirloin steak was perfectly cooked medium as requested. Steve even popped back to deliver a complimentary bottle of wine. Would recommend order again

I've ate here a few times and the food has been great. Very disappointed this time around, prawn dishes only had one big prawn more pasta than anything else. Mushroom risotto was tasteless and lacked any chicken. We ordered outside the shop and waited for it to be cooked. I wouldnt return again!!!!

Great find. 3 course happy hour special between 5pm and 7pm just £10.95. Garlic mushrooms and bruchetta starters were delicious, Pizza and Carbonara mains were great and Tiramasu and chocolate fudge cake to finish it all off. Amazing value for money, really welcoming and friendly staff, efficient service, great Covid secure features. Well spaced with sanitiser on every table and super clean throughout. We'll definitely be back!

Called in for a takeaway. Ordered the steak crema. Offered a choice of steak. Went for the ribeye. Fantastic ! The sauce of cream mushroom brandy and pepper was amazing. One of the best steaks I've had. The chips (a lot! were the size of roast potatoes but extremely good. The service and greeting were exceptional and the door opened on leaving. The restaurant looked very clean with good decor. Cannot fault the place or the food. bellissimo
