"Fortunatelly I've read a review here on TA concerning our Eurostars hotel, in which a traveller recommended this restaurant. Jolly is some min walk from it (and many other hotels in this part of Mitte district), right across the Museum island. I like Chinese...food very much and eat it often in my home country and when travelling. This was one of the best, if not the best, I've ever had, including restaurants all over China. Such a good one I only remember in Hangzhou. We had two starters dim sum and spring rolls, amazing. For the main we ordered chicken and beef super delicious and mouthwatering (even when I'm writing this now months later). For this I'm positive this were the biggest Chinese portions I've ever had, with an unbelievable amount of meat most establishments usually spare. I'm a foodie and couldn't finish all of it as we had two starters, so it'd be maybe reasonable if taking starters to share the main."

that was nice. her fried rice is the best. Also her dim-sum mix is very beautiful. I wish the aromatic duck tasted better with pancakes. the duck had to be crispy

excellent eating, very friendly service and nice local. great worth as the prices are moderate. the sweet and sour is one of the best we have tried. we come back this restaurant.

I love Chinese food, we are from UK so have a good choice and it’s not often we enjoy Chinese anywhere else. It’s that good here we are going back tonight. We had Sui mai and steam bun, my steam bun was so light and...airy and the filling wasn’t fiullof gristle as can sometimes be the case, hubby said they were the best Sui mai he’d ever tasted. Highly recommend, service good, place was clean..

Had dinner here on New Years day after reading trip advisor reviews and it was great! We had booked a table but arrived early and were seated immediately. The place was busy, there was only one server on who was rushed off his feet so...did take some time to place our order but the food arrived quickly and was lovely. Portions are big, we had a starter each and main each and shared fried rice with plenty of the mains leftover. Recommend the thai red curry delicious.

If you see chinese eating in a chinese restaurant, it is certain that the food is proper chinese. I was wel impressed with the selection of various meals and the servings were huge. We had sons aged with us, and they...were stuffed My husband and I had the menu with dumplings and Bejing Duck, and having lived in Beijing, we were not sure what to expect. But we were not dissapointed and were also very full, when we left. Absolutely worth the money and I didn't even think it was as expensive, as I expected. PS: Boys went back next night to eat there again

The Jolly is located at a prominent spot in the heart of Berlin, aside of the Museumsinsel. At lunch time it was crowded but the service has a good awareness and reacted promptly. The Jolly offers Chinese kitchen from several areas of China and I...found a little influence of Thai kitchen. Many Chinese guest visited the restaurant what shows the quality. I was fully satisfied with the qality and quantity, as well the arrangement of the dishes. The Bejing Duck was great and is served in a originally manner. If you like Dim Sum or hot Szechuan dishes, you will be happy here.
