5 tables in use and 4 are with regular clients it seems, so can't be bad. And it's not. Very nice. Good service, cobra on tap. Spiced up a madras and it's good, breads are soft. Worth a visit. It is a top price end tho at £6.50 for a regular chicken madras dish. Seating is booths or table with leather bench on one side and chairs on other.

Ordered a take out Sunday evening, first time since the re furb/change of ownership/new chef. Very attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food, everyone enjoyed all dishes, will certainly be back and eat in another time as the interior and atmosphere is excellent. Well done Arkan for all your hard work we will continue to spread the word!

Good choice of dishes including balti and house specials; Cobra served in pints. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The style of food is different to other Indian restaurants no bad thing, the difference is welcome and I've enjoyed various dishes during different visits. great eating, good portions and attentive staff. my only complain is that most other people get a free one (bailey’s? and we don’t. there is a great choice without going over. my friend and I had both to start swirling. I had garlauch chili huh for my head, with pilau rice delicious! I go back to a few weeks with a big group, so hope it will be just as good.

one of the best din-in Indians in the local environment. the purbani is quite small and always busy, so it is best to book or order. the menu has all the typical classics, with some regional oriented on the special menu that it is worth trying. the personal is pleasant and very accommodating when asked to spicier a dish less or more than what is on the menu.

where 5 if I could star 10, I would invite to visit a curry from portsmouth. I had a slender for the starter brewed, amazing biggest prawn I have ever seen tasty sukkulent. I had a combination of Veg dishes for the net when I'm a veggie. the Veg nets were amazing all fresh veg, here no canned. the service was excellent. portsmouth needs a curry house like that. 100 recommended. Was always my favourite kebab shop, we order regularly but I shall not be returning unfortunately. The portion sizes are just not worth the price. Boxes have changed which are now half the size, the salad was pathetic and not fresh like it used to be. It's now under new management. The owner of the Botley one is there now so I thought I'd try it. I went there tonight with a friend who hasn't eaten much in the way of Indian food. It was an absolutely brilliant night out. From the second we walked threw the door we were greeted by a friendly waiter. We had starters, mains and deserts. Reasonably priced. Great quality food and brilliant staff. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

visited here with my mother for dinner on Sunday 19th, while we were a weekend in botleigh grange. we did not book and it was very busy, but the staff was very courteous and allowed us to sit and wait with a drink while they found a table for us. all staff here are so friendly and they work as really great team. it was such a beautiful atmosphere that we were both very welcome at our first visit. eating was fantastic, very hot and of high standard, also very cheap prices for the amount they receive. finished the meal with two free dishes that went a tasty bite! could not recommend this place enough and will return again despite soon! thank you purbani tandoori Voir le carte
