It's excellent—a little gem in the market town of Helmsley. We love the gelato they make, and the coffee is wonderful. In winter, you can always enjoy a warm-up by the fire. Service: 5 stars.

Very nice little out door seating to the side, lovely hanging baskets made it nice to sit and enjoy tea, green tea Suki, shame they had none to sell, but the staff were so helpful and advised where to order on line, I have and even ordered the little tea pot. I had a short break with my sister and stayed for a couple of nights. The B B, restaurants in the area were all wonderful. The hosts at the B B were superb and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. The breakfast was really delicious with fresh fruits, granola and croissants and pastries. The garden terrace is lovely at the side of the cafe. Rooms: The room had good facilities, toiletries, nice views and is comfortable. It was nice eating breakfast outside on the garden terrace. Nearby activities: Helmsley has enough quirky shops to explore over a day or two Walkability: There are many things within walking distance the walled garden, the castle and Helmsley outdoor pool.
