I met my family here for lunch, we had pre-booked a table, the staff were delightful, the food was delicious and came out hot, and the prices were reasonable. I can't wait to come back in the spring of 2024. Rating: Service 5, Location 5. Highlight: Great value.

The staff at this restaurant were incredible - very helpful and friendly. The food was also delicious. Although the pub may not seem special from the exterior, the interior is actually quite nice. The food and drink selection at this restaurant is excellent. I had the steak two nights in a row because it was so delicious and worth the price. The rest of my group of 8 friends were also impressed by the quality of the food and generous portion sizes. We will definitely be returning in the near future and highly recommend the Pooley Bridge Inn to others.

We spent one night at this restaurant just after Christmas. The building is lovely and the location is perfect. The room was clean, cozy, and modern with a nice bathroom. They even offer fresh milk for drinks instead of plastic capsules. We enjoyed both the evening meal and breakfast. The food was delicious, although I thought the two red wines I ordered were the same. The breakfast options were fantastic. Overall, the rooms were warm, cozy, and well-decorated, and the food and drinks were tasty with great choices.

Just stopped for the one night as a half-way layover. Really pleased we chose this place! The room (number 6, though I think they're all decorated the same) was very smart, with modern yet extremely cosy touches. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Staff gave a warm welcome on arrival and were very helpful thereafter. Will definitely be staying here again. Rooms: Rooms are ultra cosy with chic elements throughout. I recently stayed overnight at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel looks lovely with its old English style. Room was cozy, had its own unique character and very clean. The view of lush greenery from the room was a surprise. The USB charging ports in the rooms were a lifesaver, especially since I had forgotten my charging plug. Hotel’s restaurant is located downstairs. They serve well prepared food and drinks from the bar. During my visit, there was live music. If you're looking for a bad meal and terrible service, then head over to Pooley Bridge. I tried to order a chicken sandwich, a burger, and tomato soup as a starter at the bar, but the staff ignored me for about 5 minutes before taking my order in a very uninviting manner. When my soup was finally brought out, it was decent, but the rest of my family was served before me and my father had finished eating. It seems that when someone orders a starter, they don't get their main dish until everyone else at the table is done, regardless of who ordered first. Popped in on Christmas eve with 7 adults and 2 children after an impromptu Yuletide walk around Aira force. The Inn was fully booked and we were offered a heated booth outside, before staff realised (due to the time we popped in they could re arrange some seatings for a later booking which meant we could indeed sit inside. Which was fabulous as we had accepted the outside booth, inside was much better for our youngest child and meant we could all sit together. We had a designated server for the tables who was very polite, patient and helpful.
