Lovely food for a very filling Sunday lunch. Cask beers limited but what was there was well cared for. Not so busy but our reservation was a good idea.

We found the pub easily . Staff were very friendly and we all enjoyed our meals . We weren’t rushed and the meal was very leisurely . Ambiance was very good .

Food was good although the service a little slow, nice to sit at same table all night without being pushed out, car park could be a little larger we struggled to find a spot. I would definitely recommend this place

Whilst staying in the area we decided to go to the Stag for something to eat and what a great experience it was, from the friendly welcome and great service and fantastic tasty food to the excellent atmosphere! We will definitely return.

An absolute country gem!! Love, love love this place!! The menu is great and had so many options, the staff are always super friendly and helpful. The pub is traditional county style, it's very clean and the warming coal fire is charming.
