Stopped here on the way back into hull, served by Suzy who was very welcoming and attentive. The food was very nice and worth the prices. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone

Click and collect full Sunday Eve so just drove down and walked into takeaway instead. Large cod, small haddock, chips, peas, curry sauce. Could not fault service, presentation or taste. Delicious. Would defo go again.

Went for a evening meal after work the restaurant was freezing the waitress said the heating had broken down. Meal was OK but went cold before we could finish it people didn't hang around after eating perhaps this is the management way to stop people stayjng. If thinking of visiting this restaurant take a fleece to keep warm

Had high hopes after seeing reviews. Price was reasonable £7.99 for take away haddock, chips peas but they were awful. The fish batter was too think in parts soggy. The chips weren’t fresh so weren’t hot, they tasted stale many were covered in black bits. The mushy peas were ok. I asked for a fork, didn’t get one. To add insult to injury the server wasn’t at all friendly. After a couple of bites , I put the lot in the bin. Voir le carte

Have been going to Papas Bilton for take aways since they opened. The last twice I have been I can say it has definately gone down hill. Just picked up ours and when we got home all the chips were covered in black bits as though they had been fried in oil that something had burnt in it. To far away to take back so we just had the fish, which was also not as fantastic as it used to be. Will try Kingswood next time to see if any better, if not will b looking for somewhere else.

The food at this restaurant was excellent, however, the atmosphere was quite cold. We all had to keep our hats and coats on throughout the meal. When I made a reservation, I was informed that they were having issues with the heating system, but I did not expect it to be as cold as it was. Due to having an elderly guest of 94 in our party, it was difficult to find another option at such short notice. I was disappointed that they could not provide temporary heating, as the small heater they had did not do much to warm the space. Firstly this is not something that I would normally do, but was just so incredibly disappointed by our experience tonight 27/10/23. Took mum for a birthday meal(85), she loves it here, but the restaurant was absolutely freezing. If we wouldn't have had our outdoor coats in the car, there would have no way we could have stayed with mum. All the customers were complaining how cold it was with the poor waitress having to constantly apologise. One couple had managed to requisition a small heater from somewhere and had it plugged in near their table. The food was lovely, as always, but very quickly became cold before we could finish it.
