Well I am big fan of sushi ! Papa Umi's makes eating sushi an event. The food is excellent the decor is nice.... will go there again soon!

Food and selection super, service fast and reliable, sushi especially great! No restaurant for long sitting in a cozy round. But go upstairs for dinner!

A really nice sushi place with many new creations (if you are tired of classic sushi). Really nice interior. Great for groups or a dinner for two. Be creative and try something new from the menue! You most likely won't regret it!

In the times of Glutamat and Buffet a real highlight! Asian flair without the usual kitsch like golden lion or Koi aquarium! At first, the ambience convinces enormously. The food is highly recommended! Fish is grilled on point and not frit/paniert orä TOP!!! In addition, I have never seen so lovingly served sushi. Since it was in the neighboring table, I can't say anything tastefully.

The food at Papa Umi is really delicious and well prepared. There is nothing to criticize here at all. However, due to the large tables and the size of the room, there is a bit of a canteen atmosphere. We also had to wait a long time before we could order our food and also until it was served to us. Because we were sitting in the peripheral area, we were often not even noticed by the waiters (I had the impression that there was no clear table allocation and everyone was somehow responsible for everything or not). However, to their credit, there was really a lot going on that evening. But we would definitely come back because of the delicious food.

We stayed on 25.02., Saturday at 18:30 in Papa Umi in Koblenz. A little insecure about the partially bad evaluation of the service, we were looking forward to eating. And that's true. The appetizer for 2 was really delicious, appealing, top. Also the most important foods, once tuna, once salmon were an experience. I was really excited. And the service: was good!! You can look into the crumbs and find that we had 4 different controls. But we were very well served, the drinks were immediately there, the recommendation to the appetizer board a hit. And during preparation of the appetizers we were looking for the main dish. All in all a success. We'll be back.

I was there with my girlfriend and a friendly couple.the interior reminds American burger house with modern chinese decorations.the lighting was good though.sushi was tasty but it was the smallest maki rolls I have ever seen. I love sushi and I have tried several places but it was the first time I saw such low price/value. I orderer a set of three makis ( cucumber, tuna, salmon) and a California roll out, they brought it one single plater it was very presentable big plate well decorated but so little sishi for such amount 22€ also had a lovely Jasmine tea in pot without a handle or holder or any way of picking it up without getting your fingers burnt.
