First time visiting here and we weren't expecting the small plates menu, but we weren't disappointed. The food was incredible and the filet of beef in peppercorn sauce was melt in your mouth stuff, even the roast potatoes were amazing! Staff were friendly and accommodating and we will definitely be back here in the future.

The food was delicious; it was fresh and subtly flavoured with complex and surprising combinations of ingredients. It was among the best of this type of food that I have had. Really really good! The staff were friendly and efficient and the venue was lively and looked great. On the downside (and its hardly worth mentioning in the scheme of things) the music in the loos was ridiculously loud; I could hardly concentrate on my facebook feed updates!

Excellent place to sample a variety of elevated Scottish dishes. It is small dishes tapas style and we had dishes per person which was more than enough. The venison carpaccio and scallops were excellent. Each dish is very intricate and well presented which I appreciated. The roast potatoes come as a larger portion than expected so I would only order one for a group of The ambience and service was also good and the restaurant is in a nice location, calm and not too noisy and with a view into the kitchen so you can see the dishes being prepared.
