The restaurant is absolutely amazing . The food is delicious and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend!

Visited early on a Friday evening, but even then was relatively busy. But quick service. Excellent spicy kebab starter and tasty Chicken Kathmandu main with peshwari naan.

I only get to go here occasionally but it’s always a great experience. Our waitress Casey was a delight and nothing was too much trouble for her. She is a credit to the restaurant. The food is beautiful, we presented and very tasty. We had a really nice night here

We recently had a family wedding meal here for 20 people, Sebastian and team did a fabulous job. As usual the food was delicious, the service friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. The meal we were served was perfect, we couldn’t fault anything about our experience. Our special requests were catered for with no problems (gluten free) Thank you so much!

A Fabulous wedding feast We booked Mother India for our daughter’s wedding and what a wonderful Keralan wedding feast it was. Sebastian is a superb chef earning a standing ovation from the wedding party. The service was outstanding throughout the night and the staff were accommodating when friends popped in and we stayed much longer than anticipated. We are very lucky having Mother India in Hoylake. We visited at 5.30 on a Saturday evening. It was our first visit but won’t be our last it was great. The food was really tasty and the menu offered lots of different meals we hadn’t tried before. The 3 staff waiting on were so friendly and welcoming they obviously loved their job. It was my birthday and they surprised me with a cake at the end. A really great meal out thanks for making my birthday special.

We had our wedding party there and we were blown away by the hospitality and food we were treated with . Mr Sebastian went the extra mile to present us with food beyond everyone’s expectations and we ended up taking breaks just to finish the amazing food . It’s our favourite restaurant now and will refer and recommend to anyone who wants to try authentic Indian food . I 've been to hundreds of Indian restaurants, including in India. This is the best. It 's authentic and the food tastes that way. Every year, the owner/chef Seb flies home and fills cases full of Indian spices and the like to bring back to ensure his menu 's authenticity. That 's commitment. The menu contains both the expected and never before heard of and benefits from that and Seb will even cook 'off menu ' for you. They even sell dosa! All the staff are genuinely lovely and very chatty. It may not look swish, but, as they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. It has never once been anything less than excellent.
