"During our stay in Lübeck we have eaten four times in the Ming Garden. The first visit was because the restaurant was near our apartment. We were so excited about the food that followed further visits. When we entered, we came to a large room where some tables were occupied. We were kindly greeted and took place at one of the free tables. We have the cards. A 3 gear menu was offered on the front, which was valid until the end of August 2015. Soup or dragon roll, a main dish as you choose from the map, ice cream as dessert. It sounded good, we both ordered it. During the first visit with a dragon roll that turned out to be a spring roll. During further visits we took the soup because it was less rich. Because the incredible parts of the main court wanted to be made. Not so easy. We did not expect such portions in the menu. In the end there were two eggs of ice. Many interesting dishes were offered on the map, which sound delicious and which I have seen nowhere on a menu. So there were chickens, pigs or beef with cauliflower and Balkan vegetables in a cheese cream sauce. We ordered the dish several times with changing meat because it tasted good. Then there were dishes with orange cream sauce or horseradish orange sauce, with vegetables. I ordered once baked chicken with the horseradish orange sauce, my companion with beef. Then baked duck was offered with pineapples and cherries in dark sauce. The cherries were cocktail cherries that fit well with the pineapple pieces. Of course there were also several dishes that can be found on any Chinese standard card. Only interested us the chic things we don't get at home. All dishes were delicious. The drinks included the usual range of beer, wine and spirits. The prices for food and drinks were average. The ambience was typical Chinese with dark wood, roof top, some larger, round tables for groups and matching decoration. Overall, it seemed inviting. The waiter, probably the owner, became more friendly with each of our visits. He was very happy with the new guests, although they were temporary. We talked to him and learned that the restaurant was managed since the late 1990s. The toilets were clean and tidy. The ladies' room was at one end of the place, the men's room at the other end. At first I had to look very nice, which of the many doors was the right: The restaurant is conveniently located on a main street, near Lübeck Central Station. There are a few parking spaces outside the door that belong to the restaurant. Otherwise you will find a parking lot on the street, at least in the evening. We enjoyed the visits to the Ming Garden. We can recommend the restaurant for a visit."

Lübeck est une ville pittoresque connue pour son architecture médiévale et ses douceurs de massepain, avec des rues remplies de structures gothiques et de riches traditions gustatives.
