"We had a very disappointing meal here, definitely the worst food and service we’ve had in our multi-city tour of Italy. The $25 fillet steak I had was a small, poor cut of meat that was cooked way beyond my request. It came topped with an odd “gravy” of tiny capers and peppercorns that literally gagged my throat. It was plated on top of 2 pieces of bread with dry potatoes that stuck together. My wife had pasta bolognese, the pasta and sauce were both well below average. We were initially seated outside but were immediately inundated with small black flies and they allowed us to move inside. The table and seating were cramped and uncomfortable. We began with a very nice waitress who’s shift apparently ended during our dinner hour meal. She was replaced by a rude, and quite apparently, discriminatory male server who catered to other tables while ignoring ours. Still fighting bugs inside, we patiently waited 15 minutes after requesting our check. The very friendly owner or manager (not sure which) wandered inside, so my wife asked him for the check. He proceeded to lecture her that “insisting” on getting our check was not appropriate. To his credit, he brought 2 limoncello shots and some tiny cookies with the check. We left them untouched as, by this time, our festive mood was long gone."

small bite I ordered a (euro15) pizza with anchovy tuna olive cap. all the ingredients come together surprisingly perfectly! the seafood soup (Euro18) is also great! the seat is very comfortable!

warm and quick service, even if it was crowded on a rainy day. the employees are polite and can be chatted. squid tinte pasta mushroom and ham pizza at about 40 € taste great. ambient's okay. overall it was a pleasant experience. Voir le carte

The food was alright. Nothing spectacular but not bad. Interestingly enough we had orderd the gnocchi Bolognese but got spaghetti Bolognese instead without any explanation. Prices are average for Venice but a two person meal with a drink each will set you back €50. It's worth noting that some of the tables a ridiculously small, making for a somewhat cramped dinning experience.

Nice enough place in a good location close to Piazza San Marco. Visited with a group of 8 and we were quickly seated, inside. After reading other reviews I was cautious about the lasagne but after reassurance from the waiter that it was made in-house and a promise it would be delicious, we went for it. He did say it would not be made the same day but the day before since it takes hours The verdict: quite tasty, but a bit soggy. Not the best lasagne I've had; I'd describe it as OK.

Came here as the recommended lunch stop on the tour. The food itself was good and the menu had a large selection. Staff was pleasant. The prices were higher than in many places, and we were hit with a 12% service charge (even though the service was the same as any other restaurant), and they asked for tips more than once tipping is not customary in Italy and any place that asks for them is likely taking advantage of North American tourists used to tipping. Nice experience but not worth over 50€ for two dishes and two glasses of wine. Voir le carte

We happened upon Restaurant Kori (Grill? after we were at Piazza San Marco. We were hungry and it was just far enough from the square that we took our chances. And honestly, the restaurant delivered. Maybe we made the right choice for the food, as the lasagna was quite delicious and our starter scallop was very nice too (albeit being a ridiculously small portion for the price . To be honest, we had quite a bit of a discussion how to rate this place, as some aspects of it would deserve more a 3 than a 4 (like the price/value , but overall especially thanks to the good lasagna we feel that 4 is deserved in its category. The category of tourist trappy restaurants close to some of the main sight...

Kori is found on Calle Largo San Marco, a few strides from the Piazza, you would find it by walking right past St Mark 's coming from the canal side Tracked down two Venetian specialities here, Sarde in Saor ; fried sardines in sweet vinegar marinated onions, and Fegato Venezia, the Venetian take on fried liver and onions. Fish is my go to option on a menu so no surprise I loved the sarde; I could also recommend the liver even though I do not always eat liver from one year to the next Fegato Venezia is known for changing the minds of 'people who don 't like liver ' Wife has lasagne, as pictured look almost upside down, do no know if there is a Veneto recipe here but is certainly made in hous...

"This is my second review on this place...after The Fork assured me they would resolve the situation following my complaint about the 20% discount that You Sushi would not honour. Food and drink... no problem. Nice enough food. That 's the good bit out of the way. We booked using The Fork and quoted the 20% discount offer on food and drink. I also reiterated this when we arrived and was told that was fine, no problem! On receiving the bill I again pointed out the 20% discount was missing, even though I 'd gone through this on arrival. They played absolutely dumb and refused the discount. I even showed them their website with the discount on it. To no avail, they weren 't interested. I paid, albeit reluctantly, and we left. I took this up with The Fork. All seemed fine and they gave me Yum points since they agreed I was in the right. I pointed out that Yum points are of no use since the closest UK restaurant I could use them is over 200 miles away! They promised to get back to me, resolve the issue with the restaurant etc so I left it with them. Now they 've washed their hands of it! The discount still shows at 20% for each and every day despite them refusing to honour it!! and The Fork have not taken any action against them. This leaves a very bad taste no pun intended and after the cheating restaurant and The Fork 's complete lack of trying to help other than utterly useless Yum points which are as much use to me a 7 dollar note it 's the last time I use either. So..if you do visit this place, be prepared to be conned out of the 20% discount."
