I found the da Carla with excellent reviews when we were looking for a good Italian restaurant for dinner in Venice. So we decided to go there even though the walk is a little far. The restaurant looks like a smaller family own business for the locals. We thought we should have a delicious meal. However, both the services and food have much room to improve. The wines were okay! We don’t feel like we’re welcome and the service was slow. The pasta tastes less favorable than most Italian restaurants we tried in the area. The food is a little disappointing in our experience! It was so delicious! And it's a very pleasant restaurant! I visited alone, but they treated me kindly and communicated in English since I said I was comfortable with English. This is a restaurant full of consideration and kindness. The food was so delicious too! I visited this restaurant as soon as I arrived in Italy and was having a hard time changing water.
