Kings Head At Kingsdown

What a gem, it couldn't be more friendly and the food was lovely and homely. It was a very quick walk from our campsite. Thank you for a wonderful eve.

I've eaten several times at the Kings Head and can honestly say as both a local resident and a restaurateur in my own right that Alex and his team produce the most satisfying pub restaurant food you could wish for. Sunday lunches are always excellent...

Always a great time at the Kings Head. Welcoming traditional pub, great service and atmosphere to match by both the landlord...and landlady, staff and the patrons.The food is fantastic.....I especially look forward to the desert...and on occasion may have a couple in one sitting . Tried the Kingshead at Kingsdown for the first time for Sunday Roast, hubby had the mixed meats roast and I had the lamb it was all lovely very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, it was all pre booked so they were expecting us, food was served on time, and social distancing was adhered to, we shall return soon. We visit this pub every year on our annual camping trip to Kingsdown, and received the usual warm welcome from Alex, Amanda and the lovely Rebecca. Excellent Sunday lunch, and good meal prior to the Tuesday quiz. The vegan selection is very good, and the homemade chips are amazing that chef knows what he's doing!

A group of us visited on a Sunday for lunch, the booking based on previous reviews, but we were rather disappointed with the meal. The slices of meat were very thin and were not what we expected from somewhere that appears to pride itself on its home cooked food. Unfortunately it appeared to have been bought in like it and re-heated. Disappointing I’m afraid

Recently visited the Kings Head and had a great meal. The service and quality of food provided was excellent. Friendly and accommodating to us, whilst giving us time to enjoy the food that was provided. Quick in responding to the request to book a table at the start of the experience, but no rush during the meal so was able to enjoy the cosy and comfortable surroundings of the Kings Head. Great staff and definitely value for money in terms of menu on offer. Voir le carte
