"Went out with our friend for his 49th Birthday, had a lovely meal, service was excellent, food delicious and very reasonably priced. Me and hubby had lamb, which was very tender, Bangladeshi birthday boy was vegan and was not disappointed. Staff very friendly, a bit excessive with the hand shaking,but that's my English reserve !. The place was full on a Wednesday night, with mainly locals, so whatever they are doing, they are doing right. I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment! The doggy bag was just as tasty the morning after"

"Glad to see Tim Martin doing his best to avoid his clients becoming alcoholics went here to have a few drinks and a meal, with brother in law, nephew and friend. Spent 20 minutes queuing for first round when we entered ordered second round on app, after waiting over 45 minutes for it to be delivered went to bar and collected it ourselves, Never had meal kitchen was closed twice whilst we were there. Avoid this place. Staff were good no fault to them they worked hard pity they didn't have support from management."

"I’m a regular customer at the Baytree Garden Centre and have spent over £600 there in the past seven months. I arrived there st 11.15am last Sunday, expecting to have breakfast or something else to eat. I was told this wasn’t possible as breakfast ‘stops’ at 11am. Really? On a Sunday?? Breakfast is apparently only available for an hour on Sundays. A crazy system which seems to be in operation not for the benefit of customers, but for the convenience of staff. I was told I ‘could have cake’ For breakfast???? I drove back to Downham Market and had an excellent full English breakfast at Wetherspoons- without any bother or hassle.They serve a wide range of hot breakfasts until 12 noon. And for a lot less than I would have paid at Baytree. I had hoped that this restaurant would get its act together in regard to customer service under the new owners. Obviously that has not happened, and I’m therefore unlikely to attempt to eat there again"

"Called in today with my Father as we have done a few times over the past months, Today was somewhat disappointing as we ordered what was a simple meal, scampi and chips and garden peas, Sadly the meal was not to our liking and we made our feelings known to the staff and manager. The chips were fried so much in fat that they were soggy, the scampi was poor quality and the peas were over cooked. I decided to leave the ice cream desert included in the price as my father was getting impatient with the place. We paid the bill £36 and hastily left, not a great experience ."
