Harajuku Kitchen Japanese Bistro

The bistro is located in a really nice area. The food was tasty and nicely priced. We shaired several dishes from the menu to get a taste of everything. We loved it.

We had takeaway of several dishes for lunch. All delicious! I must emphasise that it was the best karaage I have ever had! (And I am of Japanese origin! Absolutely beautiful.

Disappointing. Both food older guy who 'greeted ' us. Can 't believe so many positive reviews. Our food was pretty average, the older guy was quite brusque on arrival but was friendlier later. Price of alcohol ridiculous..

Delicious, superbly presented sushi served in delightful, intimate surroundings. We were looked after by Rich we loved his somewhat mordant humour and the fact he went above and beyond to ensure we all had a great evening (especially his patience with the younger members of our party! . And the bill at the end was a very pleasant surprise excellent value. We shall return!

The staff at Harajuku Kitchen are awesome. We mistakenly reserved at another restaurant and they managed to find us a table despite the place being fully booked. Their hospitality continued throughout the meal. We are from San Francisco where Japanese restaurants abound and this one of the best meals we have had. Cozy little restaurant that I visited with friends. Walking in to the restaurant we were greeted and seated right away even though we had arrived 15min before our reservation. The ambience and the vibe was very inviting and our server was great with recommending things on the menu. The sushi that I ordered was delicious and very filling. Overall great experience, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

After being recommended by one of the locals, I am so glad we ended up here for a midweek dinner date! Food was absolutely sensational, and they nailed every aspect of Japanese Dining! The dishes were beautifully presented, incredibly tasty and full of flavour. Service from the staff was exceptional, and it felt that the staff were ready and waiting to help at every step of the way! Drinks menu was wide ranging and paired beautifully with the food! Atmosphere was quiet, intimate and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend dinner here!

Friendly staff, a nice take on traditional Japanese fare. There’s no pressure to eat a full meal, even at lunch time (some students dropped by ate only dessert specials), a nice approach. The edamame beans are delicious, the pork donburi very filling! I suspect the miso soup is made to cater for vegans, it doesn’t have the fatty richness of genuine miso broth made from pork bones; the rice in our dishes was not sticky as it would be in Japan, which made eating it with chopsticks more difficult. Slightly disappointing as Chef appeared to be Japanese! The guys found the chicken teriyaki less filling than my donburi, the chicken udon noodles was enjoyed.
