Recently refurbished and looks so much more appealing. Food very good quality and not too expensive. Always plenty of people in, which tells you it is a good food house

This was a nice place to go out for a meal, but the toilets are old and outdated besides that,all of the meals are tasty and the menu has a large variety of meals something perfect for all ages.

on 12:00 we were in the bang, ordered food and drinks. eating came in good time, very tasty eating, just made really good. we will return and will recommend friends. we will do everything, keep young! Voir le carte

Booked for a family meal Friday 28/08/2020 not knowing what to expect in the present situation but need not to have worried Dave and all staff complied to all the rules, the food for the 6 of us was as usual spot on. Great night...thanks to Dave and all staff.

the bald at the bar was absolutely disgusting for my child. none of the employees were child-friendly, never think of a child with learning difficulties. eating came out at different times, so waiting for them while another was eating was not at all good. Won't... we're back

Visited with family while on holiday in October break. Very helpful and friendly staff nothing to much trouble for them.Did not have long to wait at all for our meals, the portions were huge,really tasty food. I visited the half moon today for the second time on a sunday. Last time the attitude of the scruffy looking barman was appalling. I thought he was having a bad day so let it go. Today on another level, instead of explaining that no...meals are served in the area we were standing, somewhere we sit at least twice per week by the way,he said you can't sit there, I pointed out we sat there weekdays, to which the owner, who has previously been OK with us said we don't serve on a sunday. My mum is 82, and the owner knows how much of a struggle it is to get mum in the pub and we eat there regularly. I thought a little bit of a compromise could have been made. we booked a family meal for 12 on the holy evening. introduce our order on request. we sat at the table as soon as we arrived, which was great for the security of the kovids. the meal began to arrive within 5 minutes, which did not give us the opportunity to order drinks and relax. the eating was very bad quality, the huh was frozen chicken stripes and the sampi was certainly not whitby', as advertised as they were tiny and overcooked. seven tiny pieces... real! the whole food was warm not hot and clear prepared. we visited small children and two of the children's meals came out after everyone had eaten. a very bad experience that we will not repeat after many years of visit. Visited today with my parents and we were very pleasantly surprised with the pub itself which was very clean and modern with a fresh decor. Staff were very friendly, both behind the bar and especially the lovely lady who served us our meal. My mum...and I had a prawn Marie Rose sauce baguette with chips and I have to say it was delicious and one of the best baguettes I’ve tasted, the chips were obviously home cooked and were just amazing. The baguette was oozing with prawns and I’ve had to bring half home in a carry out which the pub provided as there was so much. Really looking forward to eating the rest for tea later!
