"My family and I visited after walking several miles from a neighbouring village. We were hoping to get a spot of lunch but were told that as we hadn’t booked there were no tables left and the kitchen were taking no further orders. That would have been understandable if not for the fact that there was a further 25 minutes of serving time and reserved tables remained unoccupied. We stayed to have a drink outside but upon leaving which was long after serving had supposedly finished, we noticed a family who I can only assume were known to the staff that had managed to order food with no reservation. Very disappointing and we won’t be returning. There are plenty of good alternatives nearby."

Delightful village pub with great beer. There are tables outside if it’s sunny and inside there was a real fire making it lovely and cosy.

This was my first time eating at the Fox and badger, the pork belly I had was faultless. The service was excellent, and the pub was comfortable and friendly. I will be coming back.

Pub that has been around for a while and is popular with cyclists and walkers. It has seating outside at the front by the road Prices for drinks are reasonable The do food and it is popular and you will need to book for this

During our stroll, we decided to grab some lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious fish finger sandwiches at this restaurant. The cider was great, and the service was friendly and efficient. We highly recommend this place! Voir le carte

After a 6-mile walk around the area, we decided to finish with a pint and a pub meal at this popular local pub. The hospitality was excellent from beginning to end, and the food was delicious. We are looking forward to coming back again!

We had an amazing Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The sharing platter and Roast Sirloin were cooked perfectly, much better than the beef offered in other pubs. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back again.

Really amazing old English pub with great staff, incredible fireplace and food that exceeded expectations. Fishfinger sandwich was made with completely fresh ingredients, giving a light/non greasy feeling and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend!
