"We have to be honest we went to The Oruna because we’d been lazy and not booked our usual Indian restaurant and we ended up not being able to get a table. However, we found a warm welcome and a table at The Oruna. The service was great; very attentive and polite but not hovering over the table. We decided we couldn’t manage a starter so we just shared popadoms and onion bhajis. These were both cooked fresh and not precooked. Our main courses came out after we’d been asked if we were ready for them. This was a nice change we weren’t rushed. Everything was piping hot. The chap that brought them warned us about the red hot plates and dishes. Both of our meals were delicious. We had nothing to moan about. From entering The Oruna to leaving the service was great. Everything we ordered was spot on. We were talking about our meal later and couldn’t understand why we’d not been to The Oruna for such a long time. This is a bad habit that we’re going to have to get out of…."

"Have visited twice in the last month. First visit was to check it out as a couple. They understand gluten free and can talk comfortably about their menu. The food was excellent. The second visit was for a party of 14. Again, the service was great, the food lovely and everyone enjoyed their meals. They also allowed us to take our own birthday cake. They are not licenced to sell alcohol but you can take your own as we did. Service: Dine in"

"The only disappointment is that we had not eaten here before, this wonderful restaurant was on our doorstep will try and make up for lost time. It provides a lovely environment with excellent staff and a varied menu. The food is beautifully prepared and presented at very reasonable prices. The Tapas were as good as you will find. First rate in every respect looking forward to our next visit soon"

"Located just outside the main town, the Red Lion is a charming pub and restaurant with the popular Jules Brewery next door, offering brewery tours. "We were told about Jones’ By a cafe owner round the corner whose premises we could not access due to our wheelchair Nan. On arrival the place was very busy but two lovely ladies offered to move to the higher level and gave us their...table to facilitate the wheelchair. We also had our poodle with us so a great result. We ordered two lattes, a pot of tea and a coke fro the lovely lady talking our order. Our food order consisted of a Jacket Potato, a panini, club sandwich and a prawn on brown. All au can say is we were extremely pleased and throughly enjoyed what we had. Our Nan was also offered a glass of wine which she thought wonderful! Our bill cam3 to under £40, our only regret is we don’t live nearer or this would be on our list of favourites."
