"Located just outside the main town, the Red Lion is a charming pub and restaurant with the popular Jules Brewery next door, offering brewery tours. A spacious car park is located behind the pub, under the arch of the brewery. The food is top-notch and reasonably priced, with a diverse menu catering to vegetarians and other dietary needs. The recently refurbished Red Lion exudes a beautiful Tudor atmosphere, complete with Tudor panels in the main dining area. The pub also features carved wooden mice by the famous 'mouse man,' adding to its unique charm. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are always ready to serve a wide selection of ales, wines, beers, and spirits from the well-stocked cellars. The Red Lion is ideal for functions and the brewery tour is a popular choice for celebrations. With excellent service in all aspects, this venue is highly recommended and deserving of five stars. The reviewer is a seasoned traveler who specializes in evaluating the best pubs, restaurants, and services in the UK and Europe, ensuring the reliability of their assessment."

Just have to say how beautiful our meal was. Me and my friend both had the steak and ale pie and both thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend!

Staff and service excellent, food really good, and portion huge. Fantastic place to taste chemical free ale, has its own brewery beside it and do tours.

Great beers and nice food. I had roast pork from the Sunday lunch menu. It was very nice. Only thing they could have improved would be to give more gravy as there wasn't enough. But the gravy was very good as well.

I had an amazing meal from the Christmas menu at this restaurant. The roast potatoes reminded me of my Mum's cooking. The staff were fantastic, efficient, and friendly. We really enjoyed our lunch and can't wait to go back. The bar menu is also great. A big compliment to the chef!

The exterior of this place doesn't do justice to the lovely inside. The beer is also as good as you'd expect from a brewery tap, topped off with great food. It's also dog friendly and is a favourite for us to visit on sunny afternoons with Morgan. If you like a good pint then don't drive by.

First visit here last night and was very impressed. Steak was lovely and tender. Nice menu with plenty of pub favourites but much better than any chain pub. Good selection of drinks strawberry gin was gorgeous! Lovely venue with a very pretty outdoor area. Staff are pleasant and polite and meals and drinks are reasonably priced. We travelled about 30 mins to get here and would do so again. Worth a visit!

Came for a Saturday night evening meal with family. I had a pie which was very tasty although it came with spiced red cabbage which was a little weird! A little bit over salted. Others had chicken burgers which were dry and disappointing, came with a mountain of chips and no salad. Delicious authentic ale as expected. The pub was dead and service down at the far end where we sat was lacking, they left us for ages before taking our order and getting the bill, we ended up walking up to the bar to pay.

Having been to Market Drayton before by canal, and being a small town we weren't expecting much change. What a surprise to find this place. What a fantastic Pub/Brewery by Joules. Wonderfully decorated with original features from recovered buildings. Coupled with excellent friendly staff and good quality tasty well priced beers, some brewed on the premises in small batches. This seems to be the model for this brewery featuring in other towns in the Midlands. A must visit, food too. Bonus, we asked about taxis back to our boat, and 2 bar staff kindly gave us a lift. Don't ask for the same favour though, please.
