"I took my steak loving family last night for an excellent family sharing dinner. Service was welcoming and accommodating and the food very tasty. I started with the Papaya Salad which had an excellent spice to it. My husband had a very tasty seasonal mushroom soup. I can highly recommend these 2 starters.We then shared a 600g rib eye, churrasco cut which was cut in front of us. It was perfectly prepared and its quality can be compared to the best steak places in the world. Additionally, I ordered several side dishes and I have to say the gnocchi are out of this world. My kids fought over them and I had to get another order. They are a Must Order side dish.Definitely the place to go if you are looking for quality and if you want to satisfy your steak cravings in Vienna."

Beautiful trendy steakhouse with delicious steaks. I had the steak skewer and it was delicious! Order the truffle gnocchi as a side. Perfect for Americans, they have menus in English!

Was now already 3 times in the nice ground floor of the Sofitel Hotel. The El Gaucho kitschen is able to fulfill all request, if rare, medium or well done, everytime perfect. Delicious meat, creative contours, great wine. But it's not an argentian restaurant, their "chimichurris" are nice sauces, their "humita" is a nice interpretation of the corn-cheese classic dish, featuring whole corn and beautifully presented. And no trace of "dulce de leche" on the dessert list. So go for the good meat, knowing that it's not cheap. Luxuous environment, a bit cold though, in spite of all the chairs wearing cow skins.

İ went restaurant about 17:00. İt was almost empty. There was nobody fır reception. İ waited, nobody came and asked formhrlp. Tgen İ asked one of waiter ' may i sit a free table or shoe me please. He sait wait and go reception!! İ look the place that he showed me as reception. There was nobody again. İdk may be they thinj their restaurant is the only one place people can eat or they give food free:)) Anyway even if they serve best food, i left there.
