Dolly Blue - Carte

Just had an amazing meal at the dolly blue bar. Food was gorgeous and reasonably priced. Bar man/ waiter was polite and attentive off to enjoy there pool now.

I stayed in hotel and decided to eat in the bar, this was on a wed night and they was about 15 people in which created a nice atmosphere. I order a starter and a main which came quickly and was well presented. I would eat here again.

We are in the hotel on our last night and I was very impressed with the food. There were a range of good meals available and it was a difficult choice. My trout starter was beautiful and the steak with Jenga chips was quite a tasty plateful. Service was very good too. Worth a visit Voir le carte

The food at this restaurant is excellently presented and of high quality. While it offers traditional British fare, I did not give it a perfect 5-star rating as I reserve that for something truly exceptional. The service from the waitstaff is outstanding, with nothing being too much trouble.

We had dinner at the dolly blue, the BRitish staff were chatty and friendly and the chef was very helpful too. The meal was plentiful and my steak was one of the best I've eaten. My husband had a burger and really enjoyed it. It was really nice as it was a sunny day to look out onto the lovely scenery outside.

We are here one night we were staying at the hotel. The food was pretty good, a little expensive for what it was, but no complaints over the food itself. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a quiet night, and there was a music channel on the TV blasting out. We didn't mind this but I could imagine other couples or parties not enjoying it. Overall pretty good though Voir le carte

We stayed 2 nights at whitewater hotel and had an evening meal on one of the nights. we ordered our food and both meals were not up to standard but gemma was very helpful replacing one meal and then allowing us to have our meal on the second night instead the food was lovely and gemma and the team provided excellent service attentive and welcoming turned a negative into a positive thank you very much

We decided to order takeout from this restaurant, but were surprised to find that the cost was the same as if we had eaten in. Our meal was cold and the bacon was missing from the bacon and cheese burger. My husband arrived before the meal was ready, so it wasn't cold due to waiting. We had eaten at this restaurant 18 months ago and the meal was okay, so we decided to eat in this time, but it was a mistake. When we ordered the pie, it was supposed to come with vegetables and new potatoes, but it only came with vegetables. When we asked the waiter about the missing potatoes, he said he was new as if that was a sufficient excuse. We were not offered an alternative when they ran out of potatoes...

An average mark is maybe slightly harsh as we ate in the Dolly Blue a few times and generally were quite pleased with both food and service, but on our last visit the staff, despite almost outnumbering the customers, just seemed disinterested we waited some time for a drinks order to be taken despite the waiter being completely unoccupied, we had to ask for cutlery as the holder on the table wasnt re filled, we had to ask for sauces etc., and we had to ask for the table clearing when we had finished. If reviewing that night alone it was a “poor”, but the other nights drag up the average. There are however a couple of other things that might make the Dolly Blue a better experience; firstly wh...
