We have been to this restaurant quite a few times now when visiting the Lakes. The food is consistently excellent and the staff very attentive and friendly.

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The staff were able to accommodate us without a reservation. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely fabulous Italian restaurant in Gosforth small but serving seriously good food amazingly good takeaway food! The staff are lovely a real credit to the owners chef! Would highly recommend Voir le carte

Little gem of a restaurant in Gosforth. Didn’t have a reservation (tip book ahead) but as there were two of us we sat at the counter. The service was excellent. The food delicious and the sea bass was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

Obviously doing very well at present. Customer care seemed nonexistent. Answerphone on in afternoon. Don't leave message. Call when open at 5p.m. At 5 p.m. still answerphone. Eventually tried to make a booking- unable to offer time. Seemed a couldn't care less attitude on the telephone. Not a recipe for a long term business?

First of all the restaurant is absolutely lovely. The staff were quick to see to us and very friendly. I’d you’re thinking of going make sure you book. We got the stuffed mozzarella bread with chorizo to share it was delicious could not fault it. We then got a pizza each and some wedges to share these were also delicious. Big portions and great food would get pasta next time to try as someone next to us got it and it looked stunning. Voir le carte

I’ve visited this part of the country several times for business, and can say without reservation that this is some of the finest food in the area. The staff is extremely friendly, with a great atmosphere. This is a place where you can relax and enjoy a meal with your friends. I would highly recommend the Carbonara, Lasagna, or any of the Risotto dishes. They also have one of the best Pizzas I’ve ever eaten (try the spicy meatball, or add chorizo to their margarita pizza)!

On a different night, we decided to try their takeaway service. We placed our order over the phone at 5:30pm and were told it would be ready by 7:40pm. Despite giving them 2 hours notice, when we arrived for pickup, our order had not even been started. We had to wait an additional half hour, and upon arriving home, we discovered one of the pizzas was incorrect. The food is decent, but the long wait times are not worth it. It seems they rely on the lack of competition in the area to survive.

We made a reservation for 4 adults and 2 dogs for the evening, as we had confirmed that they were allowed. We were initially seated outside while our table was being prepared. The waitress promptly took our drink and starter orders, and they arrived quickly and were delicious. However, after that, things took a turn for the worse. We waited for an hour before someone finally cleared our table and brought out our main dishes. We had to inquire about the delay, as other guests who arrived after us were already ordering and receiving their meals.
