Crystal Garden Chinese Takeaway

I had to wait for an hour for our food, and the service was rude to me on the phone. Overall, it was not a good experience.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes. The food is consistently served hot and delicious, at a reasonable price, with a minimal delivery fee.

Can only assume the restaurant was busy so food took a little longer than expected HOWEVER the food was lovely and hot, cooked fresh, crispy and absolutely delicious. Can easily say that it was the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had Voir le carte

This is my local Chinese takeaway shop and never a doubt it’s one of the best . Always polite and quick service . Have had few issues but they sorted it out just like that lady at desk was very helpful and credit it back as refund.

Will never use again have waited over 2 and half hours for take away which should have been 1 hour . Everyttime I rang came up with another excuse . Ruined a evening with friend s . Would expect full refund for such bad service but offered 10% of next order. If they had told me was going to take this long would have picked up

Staying in the area and ordered for delivery last night, website stated delivery would be 45-60 minutes but it turned up within 25 which was great! The food was absolutely amazing, we had roast chicken Chinese style, chips, curry sauce, chicken chow mein and shredded chilli beef. The prawn crackers were also amazing and not greasy! My son ordered £36 worth of food from this restaurant. As he started to eat, he discovered a plaster in his food with blood on it. I tried calling the restaurant that evening and the next day, but there was no answer. Therefore, we had to throw the whole lot in the bin. We will not be dining at this restaurant again. This experience was disgusting, especially because our calls were ignored. We are very angry.

First time I’ve tried Crystal Garden. Ordered via their easy to use website, the food delivered quicker than expected. Very friendly delivery driver. The food was lovely and hot and the portions were very generous. As for the taste? Well I’ve lived in several different places around London and Kent and had a lot of different Chinese takeaways but this was easily the best. Gorgeous Szechuan Chicken! I always order from Crystal Gardens if I want a chinese and they are usually really good, but on this occassion, I was very disappointed. I ordered chips in barbeque sauce, barbequed ribs in sauce and a pancake roll. The food was cold when it arrived and, even though there was plenty of sauce, there was no way it was barbeque flavoured. It was very dark, thick and tasted more like Hoi Sin sauce. Think I will stick to more traditional dishes in future. Voir le carte
