Had a wonderful afternoon tea, excellent value for money. Loved the cakes! The service was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.

Stopped off for lunch here and it was fabulous. All of the staff were so friendly and attentive. Would definitely return as it was not badly priced.

Had the High Tea. Roast of the day was beef and it was delicious. Husband and daughter both had macaroni cheese and loved it. Tea scones and plenty of cake (had to get a doggy bag as couldn't finish) Staff so friendly and attentive and good atmosphere. Highly recommend. Voir le carte

We went for afternoon tea. The place is attractive and the staff were nice if not especially attentive. The food was not great and, unfortunately for me, since I take milk with my tea, the milk was off. I would recommend it for a drink because of the cool atmosphere but dine elsewhere.

Terrible Food, don’t really know how you can make steak pie taste so bad. Tasted like eating powder gravy. Clearly left under heat lamp dried out food. Fish platter even worse, soggy batter just disgusting. Waiting staff made no effort to rectify any of this. Changed full price when it was clear that no food had been eaten. Seriously disappointing don’t waste your money..

Out for dinner with Sheena last night and it was very good. We had the high tea menu, which finishes at six o 'clock. Sheena had fish and chips, recommend, Jacqui had the roast of the day (pork) recommend, Derek had the steak pie (made in house with flaky pastry, recommend, and I had the smoked cheese and bacon macaroni. All followed by scones with jam and cream and wee assorted cakes (chocolate size) and tea/coffee. Attentive but not intrusive staff, lots of smiling faces so rare in the hospitality industry nowadays. Very nice and quite Olde Worlde . We 'll have to have lunch there. Voir le carte
